    AEG... I already trawled the Internet and attacked it with a knife..... Now I need to calm down and leave it to a man. I will live on microwavable food until then

      Actually.. Chilli.... remembering my days when I had a really NICE oven....

      Go and unplug your oven for about 10 minutes. Then plug back in. Let all the electronics reset and try to open the door then.

          Nononono.. UNPLUG from power outlet, hon!!!!! And leave it unplugged for a good 10 minutes or so... basically like doing a hard boot on your computer!

                I'm actually terrified of electricity. When I was about 9 I cut through what I thought was a rope outside our house with me Dad's penknife. It was actually a live cable and the shock threw me about 10 feet up the garden.
