Been out for a 30 minute run so that addiction is now fed and no hangover after feeding the habit. The spikes just dig into the ice so make the icy pavements/tracks safe.

I usually go out on my own but I've never been up in the winter in these conditions so I joined a club a couple of weeks ago. I had some climbs arranged for last week and over the hols, but it's so icy they say it would be a bit too risky to take a newbie out with them. Understandable, as they don't know that I'm the climbing machine that I am until they see for themselves. Hopefully it'll ease up after Christmas and I can get away then.

Hi Zenders - yep Uk is looking like one big igloo right now and chaos trying to travel anywhere especially by plane.

Bad news for me is that oven man came and managed to get oven open but of course it still doesnt work and needs a part ordered. :upset: Unlikely to get it till after next year.......

I went and bought mince pies and they can be mirowaved but why is it Im now craving things that can only be done in the oven/grill??! The craving for toasted cheese is getting so intense that im even consideringn JC's wacko idea of turning the toaster on its side!! :nutso:
