I'm working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but that's OK.
I haven't quite got the Christmas whatchamacallit this year.
I'm gonna look out my bed hat, my candle holder and my big white nightie.
I'll maybe get some weird visitors tonight, warning me of Christmases yet to come etc.
Hopefully tomorrow morning I'll swing open the window and shout at a passing youth...
'You boy! What day is it?' and send him round to the polterer to buy that huge turkey in his window.

Good Morning Troopers.

Hiya Starty, Tips and Popeye and hello to all who drop by later.

Just a quick hello from me. I was at work yesterday til 6 p.m., then went grocery shopping with older son to get supplies for our Christmas dinner. I left home at 8 a.m. and crawled in the door at 9 p.m. Put the groceries away, walked the dogger and then crashed. Have so much to do today getting some baking done and some preparations going for dinner tomorrow. Have a couple of gifts to get and then later on sons and girlfriends and I will be going out for a coffee and a walk around the city to see the decorations. Hope you all
