You know, when I'd get sick as a kid the first thing me Ma or Grandma did was make me a hot toddy. Shocking really when you think of it! Give the kid hot whisky and send it to bed to "sweat it out"! lol...

We were given hot brandy to drink for any kind of tummy upset... No wonder it worked - you would vomit it out...

Never liked brandy...

Actually the thoughts of hot whiskey now is turning my stomach. Jeez wish I could bottle that feeling for a later date.

Ahhhhh, I don't really mind Plus the others all have to do their bit - I just need to tell them what (and in one particular case, how as well).

Now that I've decided on the sirloin (thanks, Zennie! I think it'll work beautifully to cook outside seeing as it's summer), my part is easy - make the fire, marinate the meat the night before (some balsamic, dollop or two of honey, garlic, rosemary, worcester sauce and a little bit of this and dash of that), and then cook it.

Lots of salads - maybe a warm potato one and others with some greenery. I luuuuuuuuurve roast beetroot with a good dressing as well... Mmmmmm... couscous with lotsa goodies in it can also be stunning...

I'm thinking canapes instead of starters... Little teensy weensie wraps, toasted something-or-other with cream cheese & salmon, chicken satays (like the ones I made over Christmas), a few choice cheeses... The possibilities are endless...

Oh dear... I'm getting completely distracted here... Maybe I should eat something - the fact that my last square meal was last night might be contributing to my intended gluttony...

Ok thats gluttony & sloth having paid us a visit in the army today, I can definitely hold my hand up to acedia in the past. That only leaves us four more, any takers?
