I went outside a little while ago. It's blowing a gale. I'm now looking out of my office window to see of any women were daft enough to try and wear a skirt in this weather. This kind of wind has been known to topple double-decker buses and trucks with tall trailers. A runaway fire warning has been issued for the Cape Peninsula for the next few days.

WTF will I do if it blows like this on NYE :upset:

Good Morning Folks!
Well, I'm back at work for a few days then all the mayhem starts for real here in Scotland. There will be many parties and I'll not be going to any of them. I just don't like them any more. I don't think I ever really did. They're just an excuse and I didn't need any excuses to drink.
I was on Facebook yesterday. Someone had got in and was buggering about so I closed it.
It's a balmy 6 degrees C right now and it really does feel warm. Strange how the body adjusts to things.

Good morning Army, Happy Wednesday to you all-and those to come. The sleep fairy was not at my house last night. If I had known all this activity was going on-I would have been on here in a flash:H. I actually thought about it around 3 am or so but it was too cold to get out of bed. The alarm was set for 6 am so I could get ready to take my son to holiday camp. They had a meet-up at the centre for 7:30 because they are going to a circus today and they get to have lunch with the clowns and learn about circus life.Should be fun for him and then he stays with me for the rest of the weekend. So, I'm tired but happy. Only one "un-fun" errand to do today and then I can relax! YEAH!!!

Good morning Chilli, Pops & Expat

I've had to resort to the office smoking room (which is in the fecking basement). The wind is so strong, your cigarette practically disappears in front of your eyes, without you even having a puff.

It is incredibly quiet at the office today - even fewer people than yesterday. Out of 14 people in my team, only 3 are at the office. We must be stupid feckers...
