Don't worry, I'll squeeze the rest of you in later on this week.

            'Morning everyone,
And my, weren't you up early Tawny! How is the search going? The other woman sounded so disorganised and unsure of herself.

Last night I filled in my application for entry to the US and they want to know if I suffer from moral turpitude!!!!

            Morning Bridge.

Techie, if you ROOLY ROOLY want a pair of Blundstones, I can bring a pair over for you.

            Blundstone Footwear

Might I suggest the model 059 or perhaps the 200

Morning Missy. And what is the water temp over there??

I'm off to see if there's adive this morning then taking myself to join Curves to try and get a bit more lard off before the ski trip. However one of the girls at the dive shop suggested I wear my BCD (with weights) round the house for building up strength! I may just try it.

Mr G. Have you got flesh coloured ear plugs?

However, I did answer "NO" to these questions on the US application form

                    Answer ”No” if:

                    (a) You currently have no physical or mental disorders; or

                    (b) You have or had a physical or mental disorder without associated behavior that may pose or has posed a threat to your property, safety or welfare of that of others; or

                    (c) You currently have a physical or mental disorder with associated behavior, but that behavior has not posed, does not currently pose nor will pose a threat to your property, safety or welfare or that of others; or

                    (d) You had a physical or mental disorder with associated behavior that posed a threat to your property, safety or welfare or that of others, but that behavior is unlikely to recur.

                          Morning all,

Just staggered outta bed to answer the phone. Was sleeping the sleep of the innocent (cause you all know I have a grown up job now and actually have a weekend). I woke up not knowing where the heck I was....its gonna take a while to get used to living three days on site and four days at home.

Guess what folks???? I'm getting my new doggie today. After Saff closed her beautiful soulful eyes, I swore I would give it at least six months before even thinking about another one. But something steered me to the dogs home yesterday and before you know it, I have adopted Lyndy Lou. She is a 13 year old Staffie. Peeps are having epileptic fits over her age...saying stuff like...she will only live for a little while then the heartache will happen all over again.

Well I dont give a rats arse....she is coming home and if we have a short time together...so be it. I couldnt bear to have her live out her days in a cage after having a family for 13 years. She was surrendered because her owners moved interstate. She is a very quiet, cuddly little girl, without a hint of attitude (unlike my Saff who flew the feminist flag and ruled the house). I will get some pics up of her soon.

Tawny/Rags I just about had a breakdown trying to read those bloody questions (who thinks up this stuff).

Morning Missy - enjoy your swim in the sub antartic temps...you sure are tough me girl. Morning Tippsy, Techie and Bridge. (Bridge when its my turn to be included in ya dreams, can you envision me with some very cute, decent, intelligent bloke who doesnt want need another mother etc).

Tawn when you are looking for a suitable shrink, why not conduct an interview and ask questions such as:

                          1. Are you over 18 years old
                          2. Do you take anti-psychotic medication
                          3. Are you a pisshead
                          4. Have you spent or do you need to spend some quality time in the nut house
                          5. What is the meaning of life? If they answer 64...get the hell outta there

Seriously though, I have been to some that would answer yes to all of the above...therefore not deemed in my opinion, suitable candidate to help me sort out my stuff. They are out there though, pity you couldnt visit the fella that helped me out heaps. He once told me that I had an arrogance about me that hid a deep seated lack of self worth. We worked with gestalt therapy intensively and it opened a pandoras box of hurt . Very healing and liberating.

Anyway folks I am off to get my new friend from the pound...I might change her birth certificate to protect the sensitivities of the ageist fear hounds who come to see her.

I am into my sixth month sober. I have had one lapse for a few days..cant even remember when now, but the rest of the time has been al free. Saph, I'm thrilled you're taking in this doggie so she can live out her days in a loving home. Saffy would approve of your decision, I'm sure. Glad you're enjoying the new, grown up job.
Tawny, I love getting up while it's still dark and sitting out in the patio with my weiro listening to the birds waking up and heading out to their feeding grounds. The red tailed black cockatoos are splendid.
Missy, enjoy your swim. I did the morning swim during Autumn and into Winter at Cottesloe Beach a couple of years ago. I walked on the beach for an hour, then had a water walk and swim. I was very toned and it was energising and invigorating. I loved it.
Aspy, the only part I like about moving house is unpacking all my stuff and finding new 'homes' for things. I love my home where I am now and never want to move again. They'll carry me out of here in a box if I have my way.
G, have a blast on your new amp. Oh, and thanks for your post on my new thread. I'm under no illusions but I am confident. I love this feeling and nothing, especially Al, is going to take it away from me.
Bridge, you have a super day.
In fact, everyone have a super day!
