And my, weren't you up early Tawny! How is the search going? The other woman sounded so disorganised and unsure of herself.

Last night I filled in my application for entry to the US and they want to know if I suffer from moral turpitude!!!!

    Morning Bridge.

Techie, if you ROOLY ROOLY want a pair of Blundstones, I can bring a pair over for you.

    Blundstone Footwear

Might I suggest the model 059 or perhaps the 200

Morning Missy. And what is the water temp over there??

I'm off to see if there's adive this morning then taking myself to join Curves to try and get a bit more lard off before the ski trip. However one of the girls at the dive shop suggested I wear my BCD (with weights) round the house for building up strength! I may just try it.

Mr G. Have you got flesh coloured ear plugs?
Oh that is so sweet Rags. I do love that 200. I never realized that Curves was international!? Work the lower body. Well now, I'd love to take you and Mr. Rags for lunch or dinner in New York. Since you'll be staying mid-town we could go to my University Club which is on 43rd Street between 5th & 6th Ave. I seldom eat or stay there but it is pretty darn nice. Just a suggestion, but you decide what works for you. No pressure at ALL!!!

BTW, take it from someone who has just skied the entire weekend. Work on your legs. I keep myself in shape but age is rearing its ugly head. My upper body is a bit sore but my lower body is another story. I did not go into the office today but worked from home instead. Just had a deep tissue massage a few hours ago, and enough ibuprofen to anger a kidney, but I'm still hurting. I'd welcome a few of those meat ants Frog mentioned just for a distraction. Anyway, thanks for thinking of me! John

Tawny/Rags I just about had a breakdown trying to read those bloody questions (who thinks up this stuff).

Some well paid public servant in the USA! Did you read the questions in the shortcut as well? At least they no longer ask if I am or ever have been a member of the Communist Party.... probably because China has bought up most of their gold reserves.

Same here. I just lied and ticked the "NO" button. Hope no-one from US customs reads this.

                Dear Techie,
The 200 is a little bit more "robust" looking. That the look you're going for? I have a similar pair as my work boots. I imagine Tawn would be more of a 375 girl.

The 059 is the style I wear as "dress" boots... wot I'll be wearing to the US and Canada.
Have a good browse. And I hadn't realised they restricted the colour range. Damn... see what happens when you have a WFC and have to get them made O/S!
OMG The intimacies we get up to on MWO!!!

                  Hiya Undies.

Sapphy that is lovely about your new dogger. I have taken aged dogs from the pound before and NEVER regretted it. Yes, they arent with us that long, but we know that and kind of prepare for it. But the joy of giving them there last few months or years of happiness is worth its weight in gold. I wouldnt hesitate about taking another pensioner again.

                    Yes Ragsy,

I think her new name is Lucy....she is actually responding to it.

Tawny, I love getting up while it's still dark and sitting out in the patio with my weiro listening to the birds waking up and heading out to their feeding grounds. The red tailed black cockatoos are splendid.
Missy, enjoy your swim. I did the morning swim during Autumn and into Winter at Cottesloe Beach a couple of years ago. I walked on the beach for an hour, then had a water walk and swim. I was very toned and it was energising and invigorating. I loved it.
Aspy, the only part I like about moving house is unpacking all my stuff and finding new 'homes' for things. I love my home where I am now and never want to move again. They'll carry me out of here in a box if I have my way.
G, have a blast on your new amp. Oh, and thanks for your post on my new thread. I'm under no illusions but I am confident. I love this feeling and nothing, especially Al, is going to take it away from me.
Bridge, you have a super day.
In fact, everyone have a super day!
                        HI there MIshy,

I'll just nick over to your new thread and have a look at what you have been up to.

You've all started me thinking... maybe I could "rescue" older dogs or cats and give them a happy life for their remaining days. But I am now starting to go on holiday 5 - 6 weeks of the year... Is it going to be fair on an old animal to put it in kennel or cat hotel when I go away? Or am I being too anthro? Maybe Beagle should answer this one for me.
