I know. Typical Yank - they've always gotta be or do it bigger than us. I reckon you should put on 50kg. That'll show him.

        OK all,
        I'm out of here.
Just had a call from my girlfriend whose husband has just put his riding gear on and is headed south for Royal National Park. I shall don my riding apparell and ride north to meet him at the visitors centre at Audley..... and give him a couple of Big Bang T shirts to take home. Do any other Undies watch / like that show? I'm hooked on it.

        Catch yous this evening.
        By the way Tawn. imagine

B: The amount of fertilizer you could collect!!!

That's really cute, Techie. When does Sarge get back from his break? Have you heard from him" I look forward to being able to post my physical activities on the Boot Camp thread again.
Rags, your visiting birds are beautifull. We have a lot of red-tailed black cockatoos in the area and they're noisy and destructive but I just love them and their cries as they head to and from their feeding grounds each morning and evening. My weiro puts up her little crest and calls out to them, which can be pretty deafening when she's sitting on my shoulder. She's loving this hot weather we've been having and really enjoys sitting out on the patio in the evenings. It's going to be even better once I get the walls, artificial turf and gardens in.
Bridge, looks like I'm going to have to do the walls myself. I've had a couple of quotes from the (not very cute) tradies and they're outrageous. $22-$25 per block! I have at least 45 blocks to put in so I'd be lucky to get out of it for under a thou. Not going to happen. I've really been enjoying preparing the trenches so I'm looking forward to doing the job on my own anyway. I'll have a real sense of accomplishment when it's all done!
Saph, I'm so glad things are working out so well for you and Lucy. I'm not really a dogger person myself, but I do love them. I love their unconditional love and loyalty.
Missy, I love the idea of your daily swims. I'd love to get back into it but I'm full on in the garden at the moment.
Tawny, much of my new found enthusiasm for gardening has been inspire by you and the wonderful pictures of your (and Bridges) garden. I only have a tiny block, but that doesn't stop me from turning what little yardage I do have into an absolute paradise.
Wavey, great to meet you and I look forward to getting to know you better.

Hi there Mishy. Sarge will be back shortly. I believe he's at some Club Med hedonistic hootenanny in Turks & Caicos. He left abruptly right after Christmas with a small ditty bag. I know he packed his camo speedo, Spongebob toothbrush, large bottle of Nair, and his picture of Nurse Jones in see thru scrubs. I'll alert you upon his return.

Good to hear this Techie. Looks like he'll have to do a few of his own exercises to get back into shape. I have a hideous mental picture of him in his cameo budgie smugglers that has burned itself onto the back of my brain. Glad to hear he's taken the Nair though as the mental picture would be ever so much worse if he'd omitted it.

Good to hear Techie. I was pretty slack during December, but have been during better during January. Heading for sprint tri on Feb 13th. My weakest leg is the run, so I am concentrating on that. I'm still at the "run two power poles; walk one" stage Boot camp helps!

On the good side, I plan to do the 2.8km swim here on 28 Jan and my practice run is this Sunday! Please send out vibes for good conditions!

Ok Missy I need to train as well. I'll be part of a relay this time w/ some of my HAL corporate buddies. We're regestered for the Nautica Southbeach Miami in April. I just hate the indoor biking now, long to be riding outdoors, but my swimming has improved. Make sure you don't overtrain, and shutdown for two days prior to the event. I'll be looking for regular updates beginning this Thursday when Sarge gets back.

Isn't amazing how the more something costs us either the more (if we've bought it) or less (if we can't afford it) enthusiastic we become.

                                Evening all,

Mr. G. THere is only one good thing about your flu thing....you get over it early in the season and hopefully thats it then. I have a friend who drinks olive leaf extract every day and hasnt had a cold, a flu, an ache or a pain for about 5 years. I researched the immune system effects of the stuff years ago, but cant stand the taste of it. I might revisit it and stop being a sooky la la. Glad you have more time off, it just comes down to that eventually, rest and more rest.
