Bridge, sorry to hear about Schappelle. How long did you have her? I won't be getting my bantams until I get back from Palau. No-one to feed them while I'm away, so best not to get them till then.

Tip, when do we see a photo of new doggy? And what is the good canine's name?

Tawn, Hope the cleanup is going OK.

    Morning Mr G

    Morning everyone.

Lots to do to-day and this evening, so catch you tomorrow.

And a big "thank you" to all who have sent messages of support and offers of help re the flood and other "stuff". I now just have to wait patiently and remind myself that all embuggerances do eventually go away.

Be well. Be happy. Tips has a new dog!!
Nice attempt at getting the attention off yourself, my favourite Froggy :l

Good morning hi cuts, boy legs, lace trims and Y fronts.

I had the most scrumptious sleep, and now a fresh new day awaits us.

Re Schapelle: thankyou for the thoughts punters. Schapelle was born into slavery (battery hen), but was rescued and passed between a few good homes before arriving here with Mercedes 6 months ish ago. She was a feisty little bugger and although the smallest and most menopausal of the group, was also head of the pecking order and quite the matriarch.
We don't know exactly how old she was, but it was pretty obvious her time was nigh( I think they live about 4-5 years) So she just had her breaky, chased all the other ladies away, ate it all herself, jumped into her daily dust bath, and passed away.
I hope it's that peaceful for all of us.

Stirly, you've missed your calling. Greeting card industry for you.

I am so looking forward to just pottering around today. A quick vacuum, lick and a promise, and lots of internet lurkage`.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

I remember now Bridge you telling us that when you first got her. What a lovely retirement for an enslaved animal. They are mistreated woefully.
I might just do that rather than get bantams. Did you just go to a poultry farm or what?

Rags - I think you've been fibbing us. I think you're a 14-yo boy with far too much time on his hands. NO ADULT woman can achieve King of the Arcade status by such a HUGE margin. That's just not right.

In other news ... For a couple of days I've been fascinated by what looks like a moth hanging around the liliums. It's moth-shaped, with beautiful pink stripes and a long long nose which she uses to suck nectar out of the middle of the flower whilst hovering like one of those hummingbird thingos.

Well I'll be ........... thanks to Mr. Google, I've discovered the Agrius convolvuli and who knew that the long, long nose is actually known as an 'extended haustellum'?

                      Must use that somewhere soon.

"And I'll thank you to keep your extended haustellum out of my business".

Nah, just having a little jokelet ... all's good here but I am going hori.

                            Thankyou.

I only wish my harem of eyebrow adventurer's could read this. I have a couple of rogue's in there amongst it all, and there's nothing worse than copping a look in the mirror at work, and you notice that rogue hair or two straying from the pack. Why? All because the eyebrow stroker, thinking she's doing you a favour first thing in the morning, didn't have a fucking clue.

In other new's, how is everyone?

A pan to cook a cake in, a pie or even bread.
A pan to fry a fish in or hit you on the head.
There?s water in her parlour and water in her yard.
She's trying to be patient here, trying very hard.
You pick a fight and then back down, saying it wasn?t you.
But everybody read your posts and knows it isn?t true.
So don?t be coming back again with trouble on your mind.
We have room for almost all, but not the fighting kind.
You ask for help and patience but then you go and ?smack? her.
So they turn against you and don?t give a fat rat?s clacker.
So fill your pan with sticky dough and bake some cakes or breads.
It's better than making trouble and messing with our heads.

Why thank you Fickle. I was inspired by the Froglet. Like most of us here, I think very highly of her. And she's got enough shite to handle with floods and such that are happening in Tawny-World without other embuggerances. Not that she ever needs help in getting rid of them...
