Hi G and everyone. Happy New Year again. Mr.G I'll join you in a throbbage moratorium. I think I can do it. Morning Wonderoos,
Happy Hot Day and um all that stuff.
I have visitors so off to make good use of em to load trailer with junk to take to tip
Was up till 2am learning tedious new boardgame which no doubt will become a favourite in time, it is just the first game that is always painfully slow. Good to reflect how in the past we would have polished off the best part of 2 or 4 bottles of red during this trying annual event. However, this time I sipped my S.Pellegrino and noted abstractedly every time someone cracked another Boges how bizarre it seems that anyone can put away that volume of liquid. It's a funny feeling not to be participating in that for a change and to be feeling so disconnected to it!
With this heat I also reflect how many silly seasons were spent feeling bloated and ill sitting in the shade in various gardens with drink in hand wishing the heat would subside and the holidays be over.
Well I've got more than a week of holidays left and have heaps to do and am feeling pretty good so that's Great!

Thank dog the Throb Suppressants seem to be working. Oh, oh, oh - can I please have the Duck Confit & Mascarpone Quesadilla followed by Steak au Poivre (rare) and maybe a small Winter Green Salad? I INSIST on paying for my own - just so there's no confusion...

Chook site wouldn't let me look at their photo comp pics! Like, it's not as if it's gonna be classified ! But found a Buff pekin breeder up the northern suburbs of Wollongong. STILL haven't put up the chook house or the fence. I wuz gonna do it over Chrissy.

Geez, that's a pretty flash luxury suite. Got dizzy spinning round the rooms.

Yer can keep me updated on anything I need to know about facebook as I aren't innit or onnit.

This is where we'll be 3 nights in New York. Check out the crappy pizza in the restaurant, and the mother in law tongue in the bar!

Wow, Rags, I bet you and Mrs Rags are going to have a wonderful trip and I'd love to meet Techie, also. He's one of the warmest, most compassionate people I know. Funny, too.
Afternoon, all. It's 40 degrees outside at the moment and I love it! I've been out in the garden most evenings digging a trench for my limestone wall and vegie garden. I'm starting out the front tonight. I love, love, love Summer.
Hope everyone is enjoying life as much as I am at the moment.

Travel plans are making me envious there Rags. Must have a grown up holiday again one of these years.

I'm doing all the preparations and then getting a tradie to do the wall. I could do it myself because I have built walls in the past, but these blocks are pretty big and heavy (I dropped one on my foot Christmas Eve and it's still black and blue) and I might end up with a cute guy in tight little shorts to do the job (on the wall, of course).
