Rags, Oprah's Ultimate Australian whatever it's called will no doubt be out on DVD before long. Can you imagine Tourism Oz missing out on an opportunity like this?

Well, back again briefly as I take a quick break from the garden. The walls are finished, apart from a bit of "prettying up" work. I know, a bit of 'character' is added by leaving a few rough bits, but much as I'd like to not have to gild the lily, I just can't help it. I'd never be able to look at it without wanting to rush into the shed and find a wire brush and fine sandpaper to finish it to my own neurotic specifications. Some vegies are in...beetroot, perperual spinach, capsis, squash, various tomatoes and others still waiting in punnets to go out. Oh, and a 'Sunshine Special' passionfruit, specially designed for Perth conditions.
G, it's a pity you couldn't pipe some of that water over to the west...still very dry here and dams are down to around 35%. Not good.
Tawny, glad you are drying out a bit...what I mean is, your house and garden. That sounded like you'd been on a bender or something. Always love your pics. Hope to put up some of my wall soon, but using the same camera as the pics Beagle and I took on our night out, so may not be able to do so.
Everyone else sounds in good pretty good form. I've only read back half a dozen pages so not sure of all that's been happening. Hate to have to ask when you've probably already told the tale, but how did things go with your unruly visitor, Bridge?
Well, gotta do some more catching up here. Happy Saturday all.

Well, threw some asparagus on the barby earlier. Ya whack yer tinned beetroot on just as asparagus is browning, then get 'em outta there and onto a pre-warmed tortilla, with vegemite on the side. Very exotic in some parts of town you know. Noice.

I often see people say they haven't "had time to read back". Please, please, please, go to your User CP and change the # of pages, (currently set at 10 posts per page) and change it to 40 posts per page. We're not major yappers on this thead - so it's not often that you have to go back more than one page to keep up to speed. As far as I'm concerned, we're currently at Page 19. Make sense?

Sapphy - it was an unreal feeling to have this moth attach herself to my thumb whilst her wings were going lickety-split. Bloody beautiful.

Flamin heck. That user CPR sure has some mighty technical fandangled choices goin on there. My favourite though, has to be 'Start of the week'. You can actually choose which day you want your week to start on. If i woulda known that a few weeks ago, i woulda still been on me christmas holiday's. Right, next week's not startin till i'm ready.
