Actually, I'd burn to a crisp. I have to do my garden in the early mornings and evenings and into the night to avoid the sun. But I can sail in my imagination any time I like, eh? Unless you're taking a moonlight cruise.

My mother always had a thing about me getting my hair in my eyes, and it's rubbed off onto me.

          Evening everyone,

Hope all's well. Very noice way to spend a day Reggie! I haven't been out on the bay in ages. Must fix that. I've had a 'Fireball' 16ft, and a 'Cherub', 12ft. both dingy's, but through err, personal neglect, got rid of them. Getting out on the water again is defo on the agenda. I might have to carve out a beautiful statue of Bridget for the bow.....

Wow Fick's, that sure is some revelation about your grandmother. Wow!

Geez TF and Missy, them sure are some family tale's you've got there too. One comes to mind here. One of my uncles, served on the subs in WW2, and i remember him showing us a jap/english dictionary which he used to carry in his top pocket over his heart. He showed us where a bayonet had pierced the small book right through until the last 3 or so pages, which were unpierced. Saved his life. Amazing huh?

            Have a terrific evening.

hello beautiful Underpants...Missy B, I love the conscientious objector thing. Mr Cakes's Grandad was also one (we've discussed before).
So I'm all for being honest & open with the mini-me's...but I understand wanting to protect them from some of the uglies in life.
G - it makes me understand there really is a force bigger than us at play when you hear stories like that.
I have to be at work at 7am tomorrow so I'm off to bonne sluffen early.

              mwuah all youse.

Hmmm, I'll write a letter to Julia and Helen to see if they'll cut a deal. Drat Helen isn't your PM any more.

Thank's Rag's, but i'm still fairly much a dinghy bloke. I like the action fast and furious, and up close....er, sometimes.

TF, the pub i was yappin about, (and not the Albion where we may or may not've met and experienced dalliancege many years ago), is on cnr. Lygon and Elgin sts. The Carlton footballer Percy Jones owned it in the 70's-80's i think. I noted it was once called the Astor, which is painted over.

G'day Fick's if you're around. I'm orf to bed. Night.

                          G'day RC!

                            morning all,

woke up feeling distinctly grumpy. Not only is JAnuary just about over, but the weather today is cold and windy and I'm pessimistically reminded that autumn is just around the corner. PLus I have a really busy couple of weeks coming up. And I have a new leaf to turn over today with regard to food and exercise, and being a little more self-disciplined and all of that stuff.

                            grump, grump ........

                                A mammogram Missy ? What a treat !
I have that pleasure coming up later this month (well Feb).

Nice to see Les Ange` dropping in last night. (Interesting isn't it ? You just knock a coupla letters off, add a grave and one has an incredibly exotic sounding/looking word which makes no sense at all)
