    Underoos and Friends Jan 2011

    Morning Missy and Bridgee,

Sorry your weather's crappy - it's sure been a weird summer. We've finally got some hot stuff, expecting 37 today, then 37, 31, 35. The really unusual thing is that everything's still totally green ... doesn't happen in these parts normally.

Don't yet know what my day will bring other than a mammograb is NOT on the list.

Oh and by the way.....Biggest Loser Australia started on TEN network last night for anyone who's after some daily inspiration and can tolerate the reality TV hype.
Next ep. I can find Wednesday at 7:30pm....don't know what the deal is with that, it used to be every night except Saturday.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

        Morning undies,
Mammograms: I had my 2 years worth a couple of weeks ago. If the same test was used for testicular cancer blokes would only go once

Tawn, has your yard dried out yet?

Spitfire women: What a wonderful piece of history. Flying 72 different types of aircraft! That just wouldn't happen to-day. What wonderful ladies they were in their old age, still with that wonderful sparkle for life.

          Good Morning All,

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Things are going well here and I am feeling healthy! I was back at the gym this morning and dicussed my goals with my personal trainer.

I'm only dropping in occassionally now as I am a bit fed up with the computer. I have found a number of other things (not AL related) that fill my evenings.

Anyway, today is a computer day - bills to pay, college enrolment etc etc.

          Take care

I love Biggest Loser. I cannot wait to see what The Commando does to that family for feeding him all that junk!

Actually, I wouldn't mind a training session with The Commando.....

My mother had the hair in eyes thingy as well, and still does. As a result, I wear my fringe unfashionably short, much to the horror of hair stylists over the years. They always say I can come back in and have it trimmed between cuts, but at $10 for a fringe trim I pass on that. Have been known to trim it myself when drinking with (not so) hilarious results. Thank goodness I have fast growing hair!

Well, morning, Undies. Bridge, hope the boy is better. Everyone else seems to be off to a fine start except for you, Missy. Mind you, mammograms are enough to take the laughter out of anyone's day. I'm due one this year and must book in...I really must. I had a screamingly funny download on "Preparing For Your Mammogram," but not sure where it is. I might try and hunt it down later if I remember.
Very cool and pleasant here today after two days of intense humidity. No cyclone or storm eventuated, but we had some lovely rain overnight.
Well, happy day to everyone...once more unto the breach...

Bugger! I was feeling so good....

and then I saw there is a thread for "30-somethings" and realised I am too old to join. Oh well, back later I suppose, once I've had my zimmer frame serviced.

The day improved immensely after that! Either the machines or the technicians have improved immensely since the last time I had one!!! It was virtually painless!

Is that why they're tight? I thought it was my bunions playing up.
