was only being sarcastic tawny nothing serious as i would hope you all know me well enough....was only lamenting the time difference in a snarly fashion....got me?
the situation in Qld makes me despair. fires in Vic 2 yrs ago PLUS floods in Qld, now more flood & i really can't imagine how everyone is coping.
i have an idea brewing which i will work on.
the campdraft i run in April is a charity event & this year i will make sure we send all our profits to the Qld'ers who have lost everything.
i hope they start up a fund-raising thingy soon as they did for the Vics with the fires.
the loss also of livestock makes me ill. the cattle up there - so important.Comment

Geez, loss of life, people missing, and all the rest of it. The force and speed of the flood water's is incredible and bloody scary. Then you hear of more rain forecast. BJesus!
Glad to hear our Undies that we know of in the area are safe. We had a couple of other Queenslander's on here briefly i'm sure, in the last 12 month's. Hope you are okay.
In other new's, all's good here, and a very busy kick off to the new year for the young fella, so i probably won't be posting as often as i used to, but i'll still be around for a long time yet.

Listened to a heart-breaking report on the radio this morning ......apparently most of the dead in Toowomba were kids who just couldn't withstand the force of the current. The reporter was in tears most of the time she was talking.

Havent been game enough to look at the tele, I was glued to it yesterday and it is just a nightmare. My boys dad is in Brisbane and he was telling me last night that he had evacuated and expected his home to go under. I havent seen anything like this in my lifetime. I survived horrendous bushfires in 1981 and that has left indelible images and fears. My prayers are with all those suffering, and waiting. SaffI am a part of the family of humanity.
