Nora, I wish that there were some alternatives to AA in your area. I know that although I love the community here, it's not the same as seeing others face to face. Your therapist does have a point about having some time just for "you ". If you call the AA number for your area, they might be able to direct you to a smaller meeting, if large crowds seem daunting. The tone of meetings can really vary.

Morning Jammers! Nice to see so many and mostly doing very well. Great news Sunni! Please put that room on the top of your to do list. Fennel is so right about the dark cherry juice(no sugar) Vicki, that and alfalfa tablets take uric acid out of the body. 2 oz of juice and 10 tabs of alfalfa 5-6 times per day to start. Cute puppy pic Vicki. Mama your job sounds a bit challenging but oh so rewarding. Rog love the brick stove--such talent. Birdy hopes you are feeling better. Oil or tincture of myrhh is very good for gum health and abscess. You may need to dilute with some olive oil--it can burn. Nora-my two cents says give it a go--find someone to take you like Kimberely and you don't have to share until unless you are ready to. Hugs to you. And back at you too Sunni! Haha hell group hug! I desperately need a group hug today! Swannie, I'm limping right behind you, girl. Feel like a whooped pup. I was so tired, I did not sleep at all, until it got daylight, of course. Well, Paul's foot is still the size of a football and now, so is his knee! Fennel, tried the cherry juice, apple cider vinegar and he is also drinking a pouch of gelatin with 1/2 c water! (yuk) Nothing seems to work and I am to the point of raising the white flag and going down with the ship! I do not have enough energy to get through another day, the house is a wreck and I'm catching a cold, because I am so runned down. RC, what is alfalfa and where do I find it? Tony and Swan, thanks for making me laugh, well, atleast smile! Spuds, so great to see you! How are you doing? Sunshine, I already ordered the book, but have gone back to smoking full time, will have to try again when my life is not falling completely apart. I guess there is always an excuse, though. Praise God your tests results came back normal! MyLife, great on 10 AF days and good for you, Newme, you are doing great and I hope you are sleeping better now. Bird, I so hope you get to feeling better. Ruby, why are you selling your house? Jan, I miss you so much! You work long hours, but I am glad you like your job, but it does sound challenging. Hi - not long been in from work - Oh dear Vicki - HUGE hug coming your way!! There is a new book out this week too by Paul Mckenna on stopping smoking which i plan on buying tomorrow! I am going to stop and soon. I am fed up with this stopping and starting nonsense! need to stop once and for all. the Alan Carr book usually stops me but you are supposed to keep smoking while you read it and I want to stop before then!! I WILL DO THIS.

Swannie - hope that you are feeling a bit better - doesn't a cuppa work wonders? I had one this afternoon at work with a couple of rich tea biscuits and it did go down a treat!! IAD - there is a wicked cold going round - you need some OIL OF OREGANO - why is no-one reading this site RC??????? It is truly magic stuff!!!! It nips it in the bud and if you feel it coming back - start on the Oil again - it really does work!!!! Nora - you sounded better in yourself today - hope you are feeling better!

Jan - thanks for the call this morning - that was a nice surprise! Sorry I couldn't chat for long - had to get food ready! Did a Tofurky and Branston pickle sandwich! LOL

Thank you everyone for the kind words re my test results - it has been a sort of scary few weeks - even though deep down I didn't really think it had spread, there is still that nagging doubt so I was so pleased that it all came back negative - I mean, I wasn't exactly planning my funeral, but I had been thinking about what I would do and say - that sort of thing, so I am MUCHLY relieved!! and for those that knew - thank you for being so supportive and kind, and those that didn't - I saw no point in worrying everyone!!
