ok well another dinner bye the fire .. sue is doing ok and seem to wanst to sit out there with me kinda nice and well that yard it looking great and cleaning up all the dead tree limbs and still have one more tree to trim back .. so just kickin back tonight and it sounds like everyonme is doing good keep it going and yes ruby do do anything unless you really need to .. dont hurt yourself young lady ..
nora get a meeting list ... there are usally all times when meetting are happening .. its call the where and whens ..google it ..
birdy too cute ..
and vicky set up a plate ill be right there and hey ill have sue tell you how to cook the noodles for the pasta salad..lol...

Vick, I think Paul and Hubs are related. Hubs momma spoiled him (and my FIL) so bad, by cooking something different (but only what THEY like) every night along with dessert. It took me a long time and a lot of arguments to break that. Plus, he has to eat at certain times, and before 6:30 PM, or it upsets his stomach. SOoooo, as you can imagine, there have been many meal arguments over 40 years. Actually, he's turned into a great cook, and can also come in at lunch and make his own sandwich!!! :H

Hello All,
Got my flight arranged today and leave on Sunday. Weather has got to be better than it is here--cold and snow eveywhere. Ruby--I'll be at Sanibel Island which if my mapping skills are solid is on the opposite side of where T lives. I hope life is well for all of you. Still stuck in a very deep rut here, but haven't lost the hope. Cat has decided he needs my attention--see you soon.

well hey maslow if you want to take a drive its not that far think three or four hours and you will love the drive.. but have a safe trip and you will love it down here .. not too hot and not too cold just right

Hi everyone, I hope you are well. I had a bit of a hard day, I hope you don't mind me venting a bit. There have been some things, that came to a boil, between my wife and I. I actually stated in our discussion this morning about how some of my mind has been devoted to learning to live life without alcohol. If felt good to introduce the topic. It is ture. At times she feels I am distant, and she feels I am not giving her much attention. Some days I don't have much left in my emotional tank. That may seem selfish, I don't know. I do find that most days I feel great, but some days I feel very low on energy and enthusiasm. Those days, I guess I used to use booze to keep me fired up. Learning who I am, is difficult. Learning our relationship, without alcohol, is also something that takes time.

hey you are right it does take time to relearn life again without al in the picture.. so keep on talking with her ask for help and then she will really understand where you are at and where you want to be with her and life ..
and yes this is the best place to vent yell scream never hold back let it out it does help to talk about what on your mind

How are things with you T? I am about ready to head to bed. Sleep is a good thing

. Especially now that I can get normal sleep again. The great thing about being AL over time you get that good sleep and wake up feeling like your ready to take on the world for yet another day.

Hi everyone - too many posts to go through - it is gone 11.00 and I have to be up at 5.00 - not long been in from work. Ruby - be careful - no more broken bones!! Thor - you are doing so well!! Mas - enjoy your trip. I agree - the weather here is not fun at all. Bird - loved the picture - I MUST get my camera sorted (yes I know, I keep saying that!!). Hill - AF life is SO different - your wife has to get to know a whole new you again. And at the same time, you are trying to get to grips with a whole new you as well - it makes it hard for both of you. Patience and understanding is needed on both sides. It isn't easy - I found it really hard and it took a long time for me to try to live without AL (I was AF for 8 months)- my doc wanted me to talk to someone. I am now drinking - one or two a night sometimes - never any more, and I wasn't drinking a whole lot more than that before but when you are AF, it puts a whole different slant on life and it is SO different. I know where you are coming from trust me. Don't really have any words of wisdom for you - I just know where you are, if that helps any. off to bed now - have to be up so soon !!

Hi all
Damn it is cold here too Sun. I've got to ride bike today to and I hate to think about it but will force myself. Saw rooster chasing the sparrows he wants the birdseed......hill I know how you feel. Sometimes I think my kids like it better when I drink. I am very quiet when sober and they kinda like it when I am talkative. Seems like I cant think of anything much to say when sober well it is hard to get used to.....hey Vick you could freeze some of your soup in small packets thats what I do....hey Mas that is nice down to Sanibel I used to live Naples and drive back and forth to ft laud it is not far think it took me about 1 or 2 hours.....Nora nvm that psy and his views on antabuse hell they dont know what its like and it is a good thing.....gotta get on and find some cheaper car insurance now will check back...b
