I just read back some and I am on the way to Greatful's house to beat up a man......They can hurt us with a word cant they......Bret can be like that too...but I give it right back.....I cant stand a bully and will not take it. Sweet girl.....I am going to see if I can find you some feisty pills......and this from the girlt that was bawling and crying a few days ago....
I didn;t know about SunniGG's mom...she has really been through it...

A check in - been a long yesterday and already today. I had a nice chat last night till a tenant showed up with (get out your violins) a story I heard often, and didn't ring true. The only time in my life I missed work for 2 weeks, several people I knew personally died from the same flu/virus, but he hadn't lost a pound, and didn't seem much affected by it. I'm sorry, I'm getting hard-hearted I guess, but these young people seem not to understand what the world is really about. When I went back to work, after 2 weeks, they made me go home because I could barely stand, yet that's the reason he gives for being so far behind in his rent.
THANK YOU!! VENT OVER!!!! It's Sunday, so of course it's quiet here, but a good day. Hubs came in about 8 last night, went to bed at 9, so YEAH, we had a hot Saturday night here!! :H Hope you all had a good, sober, happy day, and did some interesting things with your day.

Oh dear - Swannie has been in the hospital for 24 hours on an IV drip for antibiotics - she is feeling really low right now - so everyone please send healing vibes and long distance hugs to her. Swan - i - can imagine that your immune system is so low right now that it is finding it hard to fight off the pneumonia. Wish I could come and take care of you for a few weeks! You are possibly home again now - keep warm and try and stay positive - hard I know when you feel so down. But we are all thinking of you. Love you my friend. hope that you feel much better soon.

Jan - lovely to talk with you this morning - you hang in there. things really will get better. they are better now than they were a few months ago. There is a light at the end of the tunnel - and as it has been said, it is NOT a train coming!!! Just hang with your friends here and call me anytime. Love you too Flower!!

Grateful - oh dear - I feel for you too - I hope that the steroids are kicking in for you - although right now I am sure that you would love them to take that piece of bone to be out of pain! Don't you just hate being the one that he sees so rarely?? at least he has found out what it is and it is fixable - at last after the weeks of pain you have been through!! Hugs and healing vibes to you too my dear friend! And as far as venting - here is the place! Your hubs needs to stop bullying you and the children. Easy for me to say I know. But he is obviously of very low self esteem to bully those weaker than him. I am so sorry Grateful. With constant pain, I can totally imagine how low you are feeling. Just what you didn't need from him. Love and hugs coming to you. Hang in there.

Bird - laughed at you having the same problem with pics as Vicki - I have been thinking about getting a new camera instead of having mine fixed but hearing your two stories and thinking about how much time you are both having to spend on pictures makes me wonder if I really want to do that!!

Mish - how lovely that you can be in your garden! I long for spring and to be able to get outside again.....last year I had to let mine go 'cos of my problems with my foot and leg so this year it is more of a mess than ever before I even begin!

ruby - how wonderful to have bulbs starting to show - I WANT SOME. It will be months yet before we have any flowers. I yearn for some daffs - A bright splash of yellow would be so welcome now. My mum said this morning when I skyped her that she had bought a bunch of daffs that were just coming out - how lovely.

Rog - you were up bright and early today! What was the occasion?? Hill - sorry you didn't get to go ice fishing - hope that your daughter feels better too.

Anyway my daughter is here and checking her e-mail so I must get off now - she brought her lap top and is using my wi-fi as she doesn't have it at her flat. Talk later all - hugs and love to everyone.

Morning everyone. Or afternoon actually. You all work so hard and do so much. I don't know what's wrong with me. I just want to laze around today and do nothing. I need to try to do more like you all do.
I tried to look up that book you mentioned Mish. Bird you are right, it is by Melody Beattie. There were several books that started out with "Codependent no More....." So, I want to be sure to get the right one. Is it - "Codependent no More: How to Stop Controlling Others and Care for Yourself"?
Doing ok here. Casey gets to apply for his restricted license tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. Ok - I'm off for a bit. Catch you all later.

I bought the book "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyers and never read it, so I ordered it on dvd and have been watching it all day! I think it was written specifically for me! I would highly recommend it to anyone, because if we can't control what goes on in our minds, we will never experience the wonderful abundant life of peace and joy that God died for us to have. I do hope my beliefs do not offend anyone here. I feel I should hang out in "What We Believe" a little more and devote spending more time on my realtionship with God. I hope you all have a nce, relaxing day of peace and love. Love you all, Vicki

Grate, I've sent you a message, but openly say I want you to get that jawbone fixed and rev up your backbone. Sunni, MB, and I'll bet Fennel will join in and come show that man some manners and appreciation. Hubs has always said my mouth writes checks his butt can't cash, but I KNOW I could straighten him out, one way or the other. You rest, take care of yourself, and let him fend on his own for a while. You are a treasure.
Sun, I SO hope our little Swan will stay in a caring place till she gets much better. I agree, I wish I could go get her and tend to her till she's better. Be sure she knows how much we love and miss her. All of my children here are so dear to me, and I worry, constantly.
MB, good that you are taking a little time, honey, to rest, enjoy. The work week starts again tomorrow, and you haven't had much of a break. I know you're trying to get things back on track, but remember to take a moment (or more) for yourself. You don't do any good if you're not rested, and your mind isn't prepared for the job. Take this in stride, love.
Nora, so good to see you being more active here. I know life is complicated for you now, but slow down your mind and body, and do what you can. Expect more from your family, not less, and let them pull the weight too.

My property stops right at the bottom edge of the pic, but if I'd taken one in the other direction, upstream, you could see what I pay taxes on! :H When I'm really down, I just look at this, and remind myself of the beauty I've been able to work for and have in my life. TMB LOVES to wade through this, picking up rocks and trying to catch fish (she never does unless it's one I've caught and thrown back, dazed!!) Anyway, just wanted to share a little summer fun in your lives today. :hug:

Just got back from football banquet. The boys are all growing into young men...it's amazing. They go to a private Christian school and they are all so respectful and conservative. Gives me hope for the future.
Going to do a little more work. Bret keeps asking why. I walked into an office with STACKS of folders, un-signed (therefore not legally binding leases), move out that have not been processed (also illegal from a security deposit refund prospective) and at least 300 bills that have to be keyed and paid. THAT"S WHY!!!
So don't worry....I cannot stand to cook in a messy kitchen. Plus.....it keeps me away from his grumpy ass!!!
then I am going to watch the Golden Globes since I love the movies so much!!!

Lovely MB, it takes our minds off our personal troubles sometimes, doesn't it. We can sort it, fix it, but we don't have to pay for it, so it's a nice diversion. Just don't overdo.
I don't know how many of you remember Savannah, who used to post here. Anyway, we've stayed in touch a bit, and she gave birth to a beautiful, healthy little girl on Thanksgiving Day, Zyraih Marie (?) and both are doing wonderfully. I talked with her through the first months of her pregnancy, and as you can imagine there were a lot of concerns. If you have a moment, send her a PM, as she doesn't really have a group.

well had a great day just working in the shop and got the few things done and ready to be install tomorrow ...and tomorrow is going to be an early start have to get there bye 8 and only work till 12 ..
kinda sucks but they got things to do too ... and then work a full day tuesday ... and well looks like everyone is doing good ... stay strong and keep shifting forward and thinking positive
