Goodmorning everyone, I hope you are having a nice weekend. Yes bird, I have to remind myself to copy the writing I have done, after a long post, in case that happens - than I log in again, and paste my writing.

It is minus 31 today, wow it is chilly. I am off the the hockey rink - pass the long johns!

Ok I will try again....gosh Hill that is chilly but I guess the hockey will keep you warm. It is about 35 here I guess I have on a pile of clothes and heaters on and still cold...Grateful Congrats on that big cuddley baby I know you will have a great time with her...RC thanks for the advice I will try that next go around since I saw your post late...MB lentils are little beans and did you get rid of your head ache? Antabuse can cause headache if youve been off it awhile...Rubes never had any luck getting birds in those metal houses but they look pretty in the yard.....Sun have fun with Hub off haah I always freak a little when the kids are home on breaks so off routine.....Nora I will get the flu shot and did your hair turn out well??....Tony let us know about the va......well lots of bluejays out this morn and so many birds and squirrels.....kid doing better and just lazed around yesterday never touched her drums and that is some kinda sick hahaha......rock band Ive been trying to get out of call me to jam today I dont wanna go and arent. Try to pull on my heart strings cuz the one start chemo next week but hell I just played with em about a week ago and they give me a headache....later

good morning bird and hill .. and everyone ...well who send the cold weather down this way again .. its 45 degress outside ... well just have to work a half day today and finish up the back splash grout it and a few touch ups ... oh sue is feeling better so far .. hasnt had one seazure in two days ... knocking on wood ...

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. Stay safe in this cold. It's -46F in part of great country, so I can't complain about our +23F. Just worry about people using space heaters without great safety. The 2 little girls who died in the housefire here are a terrible reminder.
Hubs is home, there will be breakfast started here soon, and he likes a feast!! I'm sure he would have loved it 2 hours ago! :H
Son took his girls to a rodeo for the weekend. The woman he's dating now barrel races, and I even admire that.

Good Morning Hill, Bird, Rog and Ruby - I slept in this morning for a little - and it is snowing here AGAIN.

Marie - I think I have you confused with another Marie - so sorry - but welcome anyway!! lovely to have you here.

It is so cold here too - Bird, I agree re the layers of clothing. I had e-mailed a friend and they said I must look like the Michelin man!! Never mind - in a few months I will be complaining about the heat!! I think I would rather be cold - .........or would I?

Dang! AL is horrible, but it seems some drug addicts will stop at nothing. Now it's bath salts. It's a scary world we have going out there. I really don't know what the answer is, but I know we have to get ourselves straight if we want to help our loved ones.

Oh and I am home not doing anything 'cos Hubs is asleep! I love my Sunday morning when he isn't here 'cos I can usually make noise - but he is asleep! He should be up soon - doesn't feel like my Sunday to me at all.

Sun, that would we lovely, if Hubs slept past 6 AM now, EVER!!!! Have seriously thought of dosing him. He has this day off, and thinks the world revolves around him b/c he works all the other time. Hard lesson for him when I point out it doesn't.
Obviously, I'm VERY put out with him. Tis fine. Let him deal with himself. In the meantime, I'm doing what I do, not being crowded. He got on the computer and I had to unplug every dang thing to bring it back up. Arrrrrgh!!! Oh well, I love him, but he better get his dung together before he retires.
Made up my mind, weather or not, I'm going to the cabin next week. As Nixon said, 'you won't have me to kick around anymore'!! :H He's gone to 'town' for a bit. Says I was invited, but he knows I can't hear, he mutters, and honestly, after yesterday, I didn't want to go out again. Hope he eats. Revenge is best served cold!
I truly understand he spends 90% of his life being in control, in demand, but I keep telling him to leave it there, and remember where he is when he gets home. That's his choice. God Bless him, he keeps trying to get me in line. Not happening. Frustrating for both of us. Even after going on half a century, marriage isn't easy.
Sorry, just a vent. Now I'll go on my merry way, do what I need to do. No worries, really. He's just got a lot going on, and has tunnel vision, but I feel like I'm the lighthouse he always needs. Believe he needs some time alone, just hanging around, and he'll come home with something unusual.
Just had a butt chewing session with one of my renters. I've learned not to get to upset about it when they're doing nothing to catch up, but he's very young, and his wife is going in tomorrow to deliver their FOURTH child. (don't get me started on Government funded babies!). We have a good understanding of what's gonna happen if we don't get on track, and I WAS kind to him. He reported another couple of problems though he hadn't told me about, because he's so behind he was afraid to complain, I guess. But I'll handle them. Thanks for letting me just talk here. Don't worry about answering. It's just that I love this place so much for giving us somewhere to sound off. In my case, it's hard to do it anywhere else.

Gosh, this thread is so quiet today. My daughter came over and her and hubs went out for brunch then she cut my hair for me. I have since cooked a lentil tomato soup - E left a few minutes ago so thought I would come and catch up - but there is nothing to catch up on! Where is everyone? The snow has stopped here finally which is really good - only an inch or two more to add to the rest already here. Got a strange thing in the kitchen though - no water pressure! Fine everywhere else - ROG - why would I not have water pressure just in my kitchen? we just have a trickle.......pain in the rear when you are cooking and clearing up as you go!!

Back later - hope some of you have been around too - it is lonely here when you are not here.

OK, my last post of the night, b/c I'm REALLY out of sorts, and don't want to spread it here. Loves, this is the most caring thread. I've been out working, in the cold, still can't warm up, and trying to get through to my renter, so I'm both physically and emotionally exhautsd. Having Hubs home with his months straight 'boss' attitude doesn't help. I may check in to chat later, but right now trying to make my Christmas presents work. And to anyone watching, I'm sober, and won't fail. Sorry if I sound too self-important to you. I'm not. I'm working on the same problem we should all be. And it's a daily struggle,because we've trained ourselves to find the easy way out. I LOVE being sober all the time.
Our goal should always be easing someone in, helping them navigate this site. Not the other stuff that hurts and scares people.
