well was a long day and got evertthing back to normal at the condo ... oh sunshine did you check the shut off vaules under the sink and drain the lines onto a bucket ... but anyway me tired and need to get rerady and rested for tile job tomorrow fun fun .. stay strong and keep shifting forward and thinking positive

Mama....You deserve the rest, enjoy your Netflix! It seems the position you're filling at your new job was in need of your talents, long ago! I'm sure they are shocked by all you have accomplished!

Rog.....must give you such a feeling of pride to know your skills are in demand. You've helped make houses into homes, and so many people's lives more comfortable.

Ruby,..what's in the air. My husband is being such a huge a***hole. He been shut up in his office since the crack of noon, after going off on me for some innocent ( I thought) question I'd asked. urghhh!

I didn't say a word when he drank all weekend and came home hours late each night, (a.m.), stumbling through the door, slurring his words!
It's been a curiosity for me. When I drank, I didn't noticed it as much!

I've been putting in so many hours working! (good) If I let my business drop for a few days, seems to take weeks to catch up! I'm working at getting it back on track!

I'm not drinking. I can't remember when I drank last, days are running into each other, lack of sleep. I'm not counting,...... I counted the days, weeks, and months, for many years and I played mind games with numbers……..I just keep focusing on today and my lists, a zillion things I need & want to get done.

I stop and take a deep breath when stress starts to overwhelm me. Lots of stress! Those deep breaths are about to make me pass out! :H

I'm getting feedback and interest, on-line, concerning my business. Have done a few things to promote my products. Gee…..forgot that works. :-) So, I have a few small triumphs, a smirk can sneak across my face, in my private little workroom!:shocked:

I tell myself……
When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. Today I'm one tiny step closer.

To everyone I didn't mention, I read your stories each day. Take care!

I am so much better, of course! I just have to keep reminding myself .....that the escape into the bottle, to ease the anxiety will only create a huge mess for me to clean up, again!

RC - so the cards were right! Isn't that nice for you!! I do hope that things get better re the creep! I worry about you up there!! Rog - I am off tomorrow and plan on doing the under the sink stuff then - but don't see how draining the lines from the shut off valves will help - do I have to undo them from the taps under the sink - 'cos they are a so and so to get to!! think I might just have to call Ron in !!! Or can I undo them at the shut off valve end??

Goodmorning, everyone, I hope that you are well. The cold finally broke here, it is much nicer, and snowing.

I am getting close to the annual event, after which last year, I ended up in rock bottom. I have been re-living a lot of the emotions, and feelings, which is I guess a good thing. I never, ever, want to be there again. I came so close to losing my marriage, losing the chance to live each day with my kids, losing so much more dignity (my bad decisions with booze had already done a good job with that).

Because I am no longer drinking, I am experiencing the emotions, but not with the crazy guilty fire. It's weird, I am having more of a learning experience type of reflective approach. But the intensity, of my stupidity, is not lost. I am not going to drink. I am not going to put my life at risk again. Life is too short.

Hi all
Raining and I getting sick from my kid being sick. Dont know about going to work and if the guys are in they will huddle in the corner and smoke and my asthma is a little bad today dont feel like dealing with it. So the cat was sleeping with me last night and I had a nightmare about a ghost cat getting in bed with us...hahaha I was so scared and couldnt yell cuz asthma. Might try for a nap then go to work later...

Ruby - I purchased Norton 360 several months ago for my laptop after a viral infection totally locked it up! Seems to be working perfectly now (fingers crossed)
