    Ruby.....What beautiful pics! Your cabin looks so welcoming! Pics reflect the person I'm so sure you are.
    I sometimes think my husband may know my user name here also. He 'knows' all about me, yet I also come here to vent and not anything I'd want him to read.
    We have snow here today...left winter I thought in the north. Oh well it won't last long and I don't have to drive in it so not so bad.

        Saving, my husband reads some of the stuff I write, too and it feels like he is reading my personal diary! Today is his birthday. We went to Walmart to grocery shop, came home and our land is on fire and spreading rapidly. We called the fire department and they sent out 2 trucks to get it all put out. It burned our whole front yard and about 5 acres! So thankful it did not reach the house though! I guess I lost all my fruit trees and the 8 bradfords at the front of our yard. After all that drama, I come here and find that I have a pm from someone who thought I was wrong to make a public apology to Kate, so I went in and tried my best to delete the post, but couldn't figure out how. Can anyone help me? I feel as if I am going to cry! I love you all! Vicki

          Ruby, your pics are so beautiful and I want to come so bad, but my daughter is getting married memorial day weekend, so it depends on what date you set, whether I can come or not. Grace, I loved your earlier post and I read that thread often! Love you all, Vicki

                Mas, it's the busiest airport anywhere, and ATL is short for Atlanta, Georgia. Hartsfield airport. Check on it.

                  Trying to make you crave a visit, MB!! Grace, I'd change EVERY setting on my puter, and lock his butt out. (That's not all I'd do to his butt :H) Vick, I regularly get PM's from people who disagree with me. So what? They're not gonna eat you! So soory about the fire. We came home one day to find our FIREMAN neighbor was trying to do a controlled burn and burned about 2 acres of our woods.
                  RC, I was only hoping you'd be able to get here. Still, try! Grate, take care, sweetie.

                    well im home and very tired but feeling good ..so good tosee everone checking in
                    vicky sorry about the fire but glad the house and you are ok ..
                    but anyway ruby as for those dates . i would love to say yes but who knows what may bring at that time and as long as work keep coming i dont see any problem...

                    well got alot done by myself today ..all the wood tiles up exsept for the foyer and under washer and dryer.. but will have anthony help tomorrow and i should be able toget most off the tile lay
                    well stay strong and keep shoifting forward one and all

                    best thing about the future it comes one day at a time..

                      Vicki - gosh - that must have been so scary re the fire! I am so pleased for you that no-one was hurt and that your house was okay! Do they have any idea how it started? How frightening for you. Anyway Happy Birthday to Paul and I hope you both had a really good day.

                      Grateful - hope all is well with you today. Also - RC, how are things going - things any better?

                      I have recently got in from work and am trying to catch up - thought about going to chat but if I do I end up there for ages, so am resisting!! Ruby - hope that your day went well too - did you get all your techno stuff sorted out?? Rog - pleased to hear that you were busy and got some work sorted too.

                      Mas and saving - lovely to see you here, posting. Hope all is well with you both.

                      ruby - I am not saying I will come to the cabin - I am so shy, I really just shrink away in a load of people. Plus with Ben, I am not sure how he would be. He is just getting used to me. Not sure with other dogs - he would probably be terrified. As I have cancelled my UK trip, I will have the leave this year but will have to see - lots to consider.

                      I need to start getting ready for bed people - up at 5.00 tomorrow.

                        Sun, I don't have any fear of my dogs hurting yours. By then, Ben will be more confident. I FEEL like, at this point I know my kids. Daughter brought her Golden for Christmas, no problems. They take some time to get to know each other, but Berit is not an aggressive dog. Just protective, watchful. She's nolt as forgiving of men. She's more likely to lead Ben into being naughty than anything else. Daughters Molly, their Golden, I ordered her and mine out of the house for romping, I didn't hear anything from her till time to go home..I actually ordered Hickory floors in the cabin so their toenails wouldn't leave so many marks! :H
                        If you don't want to face people, you can hide in the closet with Tink. She'll probably be happily esconced there. She hid all Christmas Eve from my grandchildren!!
                        PLEASE, people. This is something I've hoped for a long time, and we never get this opportunity again. I've had reunions there and no one is ever the same. I'd love you to make this something of a priority. Vick, I'm taking Memorial Day off our table. Not a good time to be here anyway. Crowds and traffic become impossible. This is something I've been trying to arrange a while, so I'm asking you all to make the effort. If it's money to get here, we'll work on it.
                        I'm out for now (may not even have a post on this!! :H) Love you all, and so want this to be a big, successful jamboree.

                            Hey Vicki - since you started the thread, you can't delete it unless you're a subscriber here. What you probably can do tho' is delete the contents of your post and just leave a period (.) I don't think you can leave it blank since it's a thread starter. Here are two ways that you can try. One, go to the post and click on edit. A window will open up and down in the bottom right side it says delete. Click on that then on delete again and I think once again until it's deleted. If that doesn't work try this. Click on edit then click and drag down over your test to highlight it as you would do if you were copying something. Then hit the delete button on your computer and the post should disappear. Then click on the save button in the window. If it won't let you leave the post blank then just highlight everything except the first or the last letter you wrote. That should work. Good luck.

                              Good morning friends. We have at least 16" of snow this morning....I'm stuck for now. You'd think that this would be a good morning to sleep in.....but I'm up. What's that saying.."The early bird....."
                              Anyway, Nora & Sunny-I am even MORE shy than you 2....I guess if Nora goes and Sunny goes then they can pick me up on the way and the 3 of us can hide in the closet with Tink (is it a big closet, Ruby?)....

                              Roger-I am so glad that you are working.....it must be such a rewarding feeling and I pray that it will continue for you. Good thing you are not near Orlando - my daughter is there this week for a conference and she is a beautiful red-head....we all know how you love red-heads!:H She is so lucky to be there instead of here in the blizzard!!

                              Guess I'll go get another cuppa.....then start my day. Of course, I can't be too loud as I still have 3 other people here sleeping and I'm sure Josh was out most of the night trying to plow....at least hubs is not here.
