Swan, my heart is just broken for you. I so wish we could have talked last night. I'm going to send you a pm with some of my thoughts, OK. I trust our family here, but this is just for you.
Everyone seems to be coming back somewhat.
Tomorrow's a new month. Let's all decide to start it with positive thoughts, believe it's going to be a GOOD month, one with promise. We're month month closer to spring, when new life begins all around us. Try to remember every day of our live is a passage, and what we do with THAT day is important. Plan for the future, learn from the past, but LIVE today.
Enough deep stuff. Have loads to do today before I go to daughter's tomorrow. I'm going to bake with the kids and make some Valentine stuff and get well cards with them. Will try to stay in touch, but you'll understand I'm sure.

Hope everybody is having a good morning. The snow is just starting, here ...we might get a foot of it before the storm is finished! I made a ton of chicken cacciatore last night- I'd better get my mom's share of it over to her place before the roads get too wicked!

Good Morning everyone - had to drive to the vets to get some of Maggie's tabs - only had three days worth left and decided I should get some more today as I might not be able to get therm later in the week. So am late posting this morning.

Swannie, oh dear swannie - I cannot imagine how that must have made you feel - I am hurting for you. How terrible for someone to do that - no, they just don't have any idea what that would do to someone - I am so sorry for you having to find that and the pain you must have gone through, and are still going through - I so wish you were closer - I am sure the others agree when I say, you need such a huge hug and just to be taken care of and loved. My friend - you are loved here and I am sending you huge virtual hugs. Please be careful with the sleepers - I worry about you as you know. It is nice to get away from the world but be careful.

Fennel - I think where you are, you are just getting the snow- we are expecting the ice storm, which is starting later this morning - great seeing as I close tonight - I am hoping that we will close early, but if it goes as it is supposed to, I think we will. I am off tomorrow but have said I will go in if others can't get there. I live closer than a lot of them. We are expecting 1 - 2 inches of ice followed by anywhere from 6" upwards of snow - it is the ice that worries me.

Ruby - will you still be in touch with us when you go to your daughters? I do hope so. Are you taking your lap top? I hope all goes well with the surgery - although I KNOW it will.

Jan - sometimes I wonder about me being one of the happy sane ones!! But I try - and I am glad that you seem to be feeling better in yourself too.

Bird - I remember from my teen years (centuries ago) breakups taking for ever to get over! It felt as if the world had come to an end!! You are such a good mum!!!

Good morning Rog - great that you have work - And you have a wonderful day too!!

RC - how are you today? Hope that things are going okay for you - I don't blame you for being scared going out to wherever it was when you have had folk lurking before!! You are a braver soul than I !! Hang in there my friend - hugs to you.

Hi Fen - the forecast has changed again - the measurebale ice has changed to an inch - and the radar doesn't look nearly as scary - so I am feeling more relieved! When they make a huge deal of it it often comes to nothing!! Being one of the managers, we have a certain amount of say in closing so we shall see.

Everyone, I'd like to thank you for your concerns, prayers, PMs , for my daughter Wednesday. I KNOW in my mind this is such a minor thing, does not compare with what some of you are facing, but she's my baby, and will always be. And I know I'm prejudiced, but she is my hero, someone who actually changes the world as she can and works so hard. Sorry, sorry, I TRY not to brag, since she did it all by her sheer will. But, lost my train of thought, thank you for your concerns. She'll be in the best hands, and this will be a little bump, as long as I can keep her little self down to heal.
You all are so wonderful to have in my world, and I just wanted to thank you for your amazing support. Sun, I'll try to check in, but I'm here with you all, and just a phone call away. I've said often my life is blest, and I'd like to share that when I can.
Sorry again, I'm feeling very reflective this morning. But excited about seeing all my babies. My cell should work while at her house, so if you need it, T has it if you don't, or you can PM me and I'll give it to you.
Just had a long, I-can't-tell-you-how-negative conversation with my MIL. God give me strength! Some people love misery, but that ain't me! :H So, I'll be back.
