Sorry guys, didn't sleep till 3:30 AM, then of course overslept, had to jump up, shower, run errands. Got home same time as Hubs, so we grilled steaks. First chance I've had to check in.
As far as WHY I want to sell this place, it's too big, overwhelming. Hope to build a smaller place on my farm, and share our time between there and cabin when Hubs retires. Hope market will continue to recover in the spring, which is a great time to list property.
Have accomplished so much, but my list continues to grow. Not complaining, but moving from this much room and property to keep up with would certainly cut down on my work. This was a dream place to raise kids, but now it's just major upkeep.
Have ya'll read the news about all the birds and fish dying in Arkansas? VERY weird and scary!
Promise to catch up tomorrow. Love you roomies! :huggy

just home, and eating soup. Bret is sick now, too. These 12 hour days are gonna kill me eventually, but I have been given a major responsibility at reasonable pay, so by golly I will fix this place. So far most peeps have been thrilled to meet me and say how nice I am and they are glad to finally have someone that cares. And get this..a lady told I looked just like Barbra Mandrell....too funny, but flattering.
NANNY NANNY BOO BOO..I GOT FOUR PACKAGES OF HOBNOBS IN THE MAIL THAT ARE AT TIHS MOMENT BEING DEVOURED BY MY KIDS. Somebody loves me and I feel so special. I love you Sunni.
Hey Swannie....I have an extra room...why dont you pack up and move to not so warm and sunny Florida? I am serious. Me and my family would take good care of you and you wouldn't be alonne. Sorry the session was tough, but in the long run it's worth it, right.

Hi everyone. Jumping back into The Journey thread having been absent for ages. I have changed my Username from Mishmash to Mish because the mishmash days are over, thanks to MWO. I can't believe it's only just over four months since I found this site, and it's completely turned my life around. I love everyone here and appreciate new friends who understand what it's like trying to overcome the battle with AL. The support and encouragement I've received has been overwhelming.
Mama, I'm thrilled your new job is rewarding, if challenging. If you enjoy what you're doing it makes working so much more rewarding. I remember how despairing you were when you lost your last job and it's wonderful to hear you sounding so much happier.
Vicki, hang in there, girl. I'm right behind you on your journey.
Nora, get plenty of rest if possible. It works wonders on your thinking, and our thoughts have a huge influence on every aspect of our lives. You haven't written much on your Nora's Journey larely so I hope things have settled down a bit.
RC, downsizing is a wonderful idea. Simplifying my life has made getting and staying sober so much easier. Set priorites to make reaching your goals happen faster.
Rog, your fireplace looks great. We call it a barbecue here in Oz. I'm building limestone retaining walls and garden beds at the moment and it's so rewarding to do the job myself instead of getting a tradie in to do it.

Hi to all.Day six and going forward. Well I manage to discuss and reflect on my mother's 25th death anniversary today. Thought about a glass of wine but opted for a warm cup of milk. It is freezing here again. Snow on the way. Baby it's cold outside. If anyone wants to help I need some help with a couple of things. How do you put these quotations on your profile? In chat I chose an avatar but it only shows up in chat. I also can't find how to pm someone unless perhaps that is what I am now doing? Dunno. Please help.

By Quotations on your profile - I assume you mean your Signature? For both Signature and Avatar, go to User Profile - top left hand of the blue bar across the top of the page. You can either chose from a selection of stored Avatars or upload your own from a personal file.

Morning...jezzzzzz its cold here-just found a slug on my bathroom floor...it is so damp in this frigging house...hate it!!
While ive got my "im in a foul grump" head on i will give this spot a dust...dont seem to have much traffic in here atm and i can see the tumble weed rolling around or is that the furry alarm clock ??

Hi Newme and welcome, the little quote under your threads, I think is called a "signature". It is found in the options under user CP. I think the avatar option is there too under "edit profile picture". I hope that this helps. This is responding to a thread, as it is called, with a posting. To personal message someone is different. You can start these threads, or post on them, or just read them. Again, on the home page, to the left is user CP, click that, and scroll down, you will also find the private message functions. Stay strong, you can do it.

Good morning Swannie dear - yeh, it is cold here too -and you are going out to get cigs? you started again? Oh - it probably was furry alarm clock that you saw - he has his times all muddled - 3.00 this morning then 4.30 THEN he got 5.00!!!!! At work yesterday I said the "And here's one I prepared earlier" (re your Blue Peter comment) and of course was met with blank stares all round!!! Go you for the 6 month mark - I am so proud of you love !!

Mish - welcome back Lovely to see you here again. Ans so good to hear that MWO has helped so much - it surely is a wonderful place to be. And now my shower has to be a wonderful place - need to get ready for work.
