No snow but lots of wind and rain.
I will be out of touch for the next two days as I have to travel to training,so dont worry.
Vick I am glad Paul is walking. GRATEFUL....so nice to see you. Sorry about the toothache and thanks for the well wishes for Nana.

Hi everyone - I am in from work and everyone is asleep! Except me. Ben loves the snow! He makes Dog Angels and when it was time to come in he barked - he didn't want to!

Jan - we will miss you !!! I will call!! How will your family manage without you - where are you going for training? RC - I will e-mail you. Grateful - Hobnobs are biscuits - cookies - that I sent Jan in a package with some books, and she really liked them - no-one else knows what they are like except for Swannie so RC was just being facetious. Rog - the grill looks amazing!! You really are talented!! Thor - I am so pleased that you are still AF - that is really good - you can always e-mail or PM me if you want to talk - or even call me - do you want me to PM you my phone number - PM me if you do. I am more than happy to do so.

Ruby - we have been seeing pics on the TV about how bad it is there - stay home and stay warm!! We were supposed to get 3-6" of snow tonight but so far it hasn't turned into much. I hope it doesn't either. I just really hope that you don't lose your power - that is the killer.

Vicki - SO pleased that Paul is feeling better - how are YOU faring? Are you taking care of YOU? Don't neglect yourself will you please? Big hugs to you. Let Paul do what he can for himself and you try and take it a bit easier after looking after him for so long. You are amazing the way you manage!

And on that note, I really should think about heading for bed - it is always hard when I close as it takes so long to wind down.

Well kids off to school and they have arts center after school today so do have to go somewhere. Started doing yoga again been having trouble with my hips hurting at night and lower back yoga gets rid of all those aches and pains..put a little bird feeder outside the window where a bush has been growing finally made it up to window height. Only took the birds about 2 hours to find it. Now birds at every window view.....wgell Vick so glad things are going better with Paul. Know you are probably worn to a frazzle though take it easy...T that was good idea on the grill, is that expanded metal stainless??it looks it..grateful sorry about your mouth. hope it gets better soon...rc lovely snow pics I want snow!!..thor that sounds like hell 2 jobs. guess it is good to be busy though..rubes be careful up there I see all that on the news..hey Nora how are things? Good Morning everyone - 'cos I was up so late last night - NO FURRY alarm clock at 5.00 this morning!! We did get some snow - about 4" and it is still coming down. no-one called from work so I am still having my day off - Yeah! Bird - isn't it wonderful seeing the birds - I have a feeder in my back garden and have a large kitchen window - yesterday there must have been 20 cardinals in, and around the feeder and on the surrounding trees waiting their turn, which isn't usual to have that many but it was awesome! Good Morning Hill - you really don't want that snow - you just think you do - it sounds a nice idea - but trust me, it isn't fun really! Bird - I used to do yoga and was so good at doing it all the time - one of those things that sort of got lost along the way - memo to self - start yoga again - on the plus side I have been meditating more!

Hope that Ruby still has power and that you are warm and cosy inside! I haven't checked the news today so have no idea what is going on weatherwise. Had to laugh - my daughter went to Minnesota yesterday for work and we were yahoo-messaging last night and I asked if she had taken her boots (ever the mum) - she said "No, but I brought lots of heels". ONLY my daughter!!!!

Luck's still holding, still have power. My car, however, is completely encased in ice. I wouldn't be able to get a door open, even if the windows weren't an inch thick in ice.
I talked to hubs and he said not one of his crew of 200+ showed up today, and some live 5 minutes away. When he came home yesterday he got dozens of calls wanting to know if they had to come to work today, and he told them to get up, check the conditions, use safety and common sense. But he said traffic was running as usual, roads are good enough now with a little care, so they're in for a bad day when they show up. Jobs are too hard to come by to skate, and people have to have electricity!
MB, be care on your trip, and try to rest some. We're all proud of you.
Grateful, so good to see you back with us more. Hope you're better.
T, can't wait to show Hubs your pics. He's getting to know your work through them, and that's a good thing.
Thor, those long hours are easier and more productive AF, and people will notice.

Good morning everyone. Going to be a busy day today. Should already be at work but here I am again. :H Anyway, have to go to work. Then take off and run home, pick up Casey, take him down to sign up for his Alcohol Class, might have to stop by school while we're out there. Come home & drop him off. Go to the bank. Go back to work. Then, after work go do some shopping for some essentials. So, I'd better get off of here and get moving.

Something wanky is going on with my 'puter, so I may be out of touch a bit. Yest when Hubs tried to access our on-line banking it said it was locked b/c of 2 many tries, which neither of us has done. It's taken me sev tries to get back on-line, so I'm running all the scans now. I hate tech, but can't live w/o it, it seems!
Birdy, you ARE a lucky bird! We have lots of birds here too, and a pair of crows who live outside my office window.
I had a hambone on a low table I was going to freeze for soups later, but Berit was a naughty girl, so I made her go outside in the snow to enjoy her score.
