If I'm off the mark, I apologize and please come back and ask your questions more specifically and someone will reply. Don't worry, I've posted drunk and confused many times(unfortunately). I don't recommend it but I also know it can happen and it should never prevent you from coming back. It's not any easy journey. :l:l

Ok, proper good morning Jammers! Sorry to take up space in my posts, someone will have to walk me through multi quoting sometime. Sunni you could try adding several drops of tea tree oil and oil of oregano to some boiled water, then compress the affected area. I use Rawleigh's antiseptic salve after this. Have healed many cat fight wounds this way. It actually feels good for them. Good luck. I'm so sad to see so many being affected by these unusual weather patterns. A bit unusual here too in that we are experiencing slightly warmer temps and less snow so far. Helps with the heating bills. G'day to Bird, Grateful, Mas, anyone missed and all lurkers. Still no internet at home. I get connected and then lose my signal. If it uses the same connection as my cell phone I don't get the problem. grrrr

Good morning all - thank you RC - I will try that - I use some stuff called Krestol salve which is also pretty good. I put baby socks on each of her front feet then have knotted a piece of elastic to each sock and it goes over her back so she can't take the socks off. that way she can't lick salve off or pull dressings off - once she gets used to the feeling of the socks (takes a few minutes the first time), it is as if they aren't there. Anyway I have the antibiotics so have already started those and will get out the tea tree oil and dressings. Thank you again - you are just so knowledgeable! BTW - I liked your post to Newme! And I agree with it - don't worry about worrying about coming back New lots of folk do that!

Sunnie, how did you train Ben to your schedule? Our dogs have US well trained. Tink stands next to the bed and barks till I wake up, Sadie jumps up on the side of the bed and taps it. If that doesn't work, she jumps on Hubs and taps his face. The big dogs rarely need to go out, but if they wake me, buddy you better MOVE!
Bird, where is the music camp? And when? I'm sure things will work out for the kids to go. You're oven will surely dry out in the summer heat!
Thor, CONGRATULATIONS on being a new uncle. Having a baby is hard work, but SO worth it!

Hi all - Ruby - I have no idea how I trained Furry Alarm clock to my schedule - although my schedule isn't a schedule with my shifts!! But he didn't get up at 5.00 this morning and neither did I! Tomorrow I will! I have been in touch with Swannie and our dear girl has pneumonia. So, she is snuggled in under a duvet on the sofa with a hot water bottle and hopefully drinking lots of fluids and taking care of herself. I did a virtual tucking in to the best of my ability. I also told her that we would keep the place as clean as we could til she got back!! Mind you, with Jan gone, it will be easier LOL.

Trying to, T. The sun is bright, and a lot of the ice is melting. Just hope it doesn't refreeze tonight. My big dogs have gotten so lazy, they think they should strictly be inside dogs now. I have to block off all the rooms, close the doors, put up baby gates, to keep them off the furniture. Gator is esp. bad, somehow cramming his big self into the little dog's beds. That makes them stand and bark at them. So much for being alone!
Sure is quiet around here today. Did everyone freeze??:H
