Sunshine, you brought back the funniest memories of how our little dog would come running into the den with a pair or two of my daughter's thongs in her mouth while she would have male company! MB, I hope this week goes better for you with your new job. I do hope and pray Grateful feels better today and those steroids are helping her! Tony, I missed the game! Sorry the ravens lost. Katie recommended that book to me, too, but I never got around to reading it. I wish I could see! Ruby, I will mail you some of Joyce's cds. She really deals with women and their issues and she has helped me so much. Roger, Nora, Bird, RC, Fennel, Thor and everyone I've missed... I get such a laugh outta Tink getting all fierce, running off the other dogs that want a petting. Berit just looks at her and shakes her head. They've all turned into such wimpy house dogs, at least with me. Funny how they fight over my lap and attention, but they have been my buddies, support, these years while Hubs works constantly. Then HE comes home, and is jealous of them. Oh well, family logistics are hard. I feel very secure with them, and them with me.
RC, did the car start yet? I just HATE when that happens. All the mechanics in my life, and I have to deal with the problems.
My late G'mother had a little poodle who would always find the dirty undies of the people visiting, bring them front and center once she'd chewed out the crotch.
Tony, sorry about the game. I just don't let myself get involved in that too much other stuff going on.
Sun, Vick, MB, try for the best day you can get. It's January. My least favorite months are the first 3 in the year. But we have to endure them, and I LIVE for the green to come back. But I've become much more conscious of time passing, with each birtday I have, so I'm trying to enjoy each season. It is a 'fact' from studies, that depression, especially, is increased during these months. But my solution is to make plans for the good times to come. Birdy, I know exactly where you can set up your camp site!! Cannot wait to meet you and your talented children. So our MEETUP is what I'm working towards now. Better make your plans, friends. No excuses allowed!!sigpic

We found our cat's stash under a porch. Rabbit heads, snakes, lizards. Daughter found them, almost hurt herself trying to get out of there!sigpic

It's wonderful when our youth have a passion for this country, and honestly, the bikers I know are the BEST, most honest and patriotic guys. I was in a convenience store recently, and the workers from the county 'community service' group were there to take their lunch break. Even I was a bit intimidated, but a biker was in line, all 6'4" of him, and he pulled me in front of him, told me to go ahead. Turns out we knew each other, and he's a really good guy. He had rented from me in the past, and reminded me how kind we'd always been to him. Good deeds DO pay. Plus I got thru quickly in the 20+ gawkers younger than my children, without any more problems. He's another of the ones I've met who has gone on to improve himself, and I try to stay in touch. I'm constantly amazed at the people from my past who remind me of little things I did when they needed it. That's the real key to our lives, I think. Not to get the praise, but to give out a little help just when someone needs it. I'm not comfortable with all the thanks, people giving to me, but I do love just being there when others don't expect it. Better than feeling let down by giving so much to those who expect us to take care of them.
Sorry for getting so cerebral here. Just using you in a way to put my thoughts into words. We make an impact on everyone we meet, and it takes SO little to make it a nice one. And ya'll, with your corny jokes and crazy ways, brighten my days more than you'll EVER know. Thank you, to EVERYONE who posts here. You are my angels.sigpic

ok now im home .. was earlier but only for a moment .. had a qiuky to go fix a leaky toilet... then go measure a door for a wheel chair and the door is a 30" where most wheel chairs are 29 plus .. but might be building a ramp and now out to my shop to sand a few things for tomorrow ...lateer:beach: life does change as long as you are willing to change yourself ..
