Thanks Lav. That's probably the route I'll go. Have it on my desktop unit, and when I had a problem with something getting through, I called them. It took so long they gave me another year's subscription!
Just got some disturbing news. Probably nothing to worry about, but daughter is having outpatient surgery next Wednesday and needs me a couple of days. Her good friend is doing it, so I know she'll be in good hands, but a momma never stops worrying, esp when there's anesthesia involved. Hubs will probably come too. He worries even more than me!

Bird - I hope you feel better.

Ruby - Try Avira Anti Virus. It's free. It's good. I have had no problems at all with it. I also use Super AntiSpyware - it's free and great to catch those spyware programs that infest your computer. And I use Malwarebytes - free program that also is good at catching things that infest your computer. That is what I have set up on all the computers that I work on. Mine, my parents, my husbands, my brother, my friends. None of us have had a problem. (Knock on wood)
Sorry to hear about your daughter. I hope that everything is ok.

Thanks Nora. I'll check those out too. And I'm sure she'll be OK, just has had so many health problems all her life it scares me. She almost died from a tonsillectomy, chicken pox, and the kidney/bladder surgery she had, had migraines, salmonella, pneumonia, had 4 miscarriages, on and on, so I worry about everything! But she's tough, and I'm so happy she wants me with her. So I'll spend a couple of days with her, her husband will be home on Thu and Fri to take care of her, so if I can keep her down to rest, she'll be fine.

Hey all - I have been out running errands - Ruby, sorry to hear about your daughter - hopefully all will go well - can't they give her a sedative and do the surgery by numbing her? i had a lump taken out one time - insisted no sedatives at all 'cos I had a three month old baby and had to be 'together' to take care of her - so am in operating room - totally cold sober!! Weird feeling. Anyway - just a thought!

Nora - I enjoyed our chat too - even better 'cos it was so unplanned!! bet you were late this morning though - LOL - furry alarm clock let me sleep in til 7.30.

AND I HAVE WONDERFUL NEWS - CADBURY CREAM EGGS ARE IN THE SHOPS AT LAST. They usually come out with Christmas ones and didn't this year - real bummer! So I have waited a LONG time! Oh I am so happy today!! And on that note, am off to have a ceremony - unwrap my FIRST one.

Ruby - I use all 3 of those programs at the same time. They don't interfere with each other and that way if something slips thru one another one will catch it.

Sun, thanks. She will use the very least she can get by with of anything. I've had 'awake' procedures, but this is in the nether regions. :H She's a tough cookie; I had to force her to the hospital when she was in labor, after her co-workers had examined her and told her to go! Her friends told me docs, med profs, are the WORST patients!
Nora, I was going ask you that! Just found out, after another long call, a subscription to MacAffee was tacked on to what Hubs bought. But I'm gonna put those free ones on too, to cover all my bases!
Hill, I didn't speak to you earlier, but you're on the right path, and thinking ahead.

Good morning, family, even though it is almost noon. Paul left out early to go to work and I slept in. I woke up at 9 and it was cold and raining so I snuggled under the blankets and went back to sleep! It is amazing how much better you feel with alot of sleep! Oh, then I got up and drank a pot of coffee with Joyce Meyers! (on TV) HA! Thank you all so very much for your prayers. TRUCKER, I am so happy to see you posting and I hope you will join our little family. You are so dear to me! GRATEFUL, I am still crying over that song and I really needed a good cry! How sweet of you! SAVING, I'm so glad you are posting, too. We all need each other on this journey. You are so special to me, too. What kind of business do you have and what is the website? Maybe we can order some stuff from you. HILL, you sound so good, learning from your mistakes. We are all experiencing emotions that we never had to deal with because we escaped them with alcohol. You are so very right, too. Life is so very precious and we need to cherish each and every day! ROGER, so glad you are staying busy. Paul's work seems to be picking up, too. Hey Vick. I'm spending the day in the office working, so I get to check on more often today. Your prayers will be SO welcome, and appreciated. I know this isn't a life threatening situation, and I don't want to over-react, but you are my family, and I can share with you. I will pray with her before she goes in, it will give us both comfort.
I'm beginning to hate my phone even more, after today. All day making the calls I've put off. But I got good news; there's going to be a trial installation, free ($3000 value) from my power co. at the cabin. If my area is selected, it would be great!!! It's a very small chance, but I'm applying. I've had great relationship with the company for 20 years, so really hope it goes through.
((((sigh)))) More calls to do. But I haven't thrown the phone yet. Thank God for speaker phones!!

ok great to see everyone today doing their best .. hill thats a great way to think about and learn ...
now sunshine let see if i can explain this right but if you want call me under the sink you have shut off valves coming out of the wall that conects to the sink and sometime the shut off are conected to iron threaded pipe which rust by taking the line loose and draining them will show you if there is rust that clogs up the sink pressure ... but if you dont understand just call me and ill walk you thru it .. ill pm you my number or you can find it on my site ... love and big hugs

I am at work watching it pour BUCKETS of rain. Why do people want to see apartments in the rain? And not just one, but tow or three? I am soaked and shivering and have two more hours to go.......
Everyone sounds good...Mimzy, if you daughter is as tough as you she will be fine.
Hill...your post really inspired me and make me think off all the dangerous and stupid things I have done while drinking...you osound great and I am happy for you.

Hope you get your computer set up today. I hate new tech gadgets, luckily my husband takes care the IT part for me. I know you'll get er' done though! I do love my Mac laptop without virus problems. We also go through a router which I'm told is essential, according to my IT.
Vicki...take care of yourself first. In answer to your question, I make custom designed products for musicians, a small niche.
Sun…..Good Luck with you sink and water pressure. Frustrating how the little things can mess with our life.
Mama... Raining here also, supposed to turn to snow! Spring will be so welcomed this year.
