      Good Morning Folks!
Back to work today, I'm happy to say.
Old drunk me would never have felt good about going back to work. Strange...
It's a two day week for me as I'm taking Friday off to head up to Foyers, near Inverness for my uncle's funeral. My sister's been in touch to let me know she's going. She hasn't spoken to me for a couple of years - another one of life's judges - so hopefully this is a chance to clear the air, though I doubt it.
It's two years today since I took back control of myself and stopped drinking, and while I've nothing to prove to anyone but me and I care little of the opinion of others, I can face these people with confidence and pride.

Is there any way we can go about approaching the subject with her ( I haven't seen her in years, I don't particulary like her). I know if someone came to me and said I think you should do something about your drinking I would have told them to go and feck off
I agree with you Zepps, leave it, especially as you dont like her much....and dont really know her that well. Maybe talk to your brother first? Does he know about you?

My brother won't talk about it, even privately to my dad. None of my family have talked about my alcoholism - neither have I to them. Dad just said he was really proud of me for not drinking anymore. My ex (the one before RRC) who I was with for seven years and my bro were good friends so I am sure they would have talked about my drinking - lordy knows they spoke about everything else **cringe, cringe**

Unless it directly affects you, I would prolly say nowt....its a delicate subject and unless you feel the opportunity arises.....you might be sent off with a flea in your ear....on the other hand, it might be the push she needs......difficult one Zeppers :l
