    Thought it about time I dropped in to say Hi!!

    No time to read back over the posts so I hope all is well in the barracks and at MWO in general..

      Hello Casia! I don't think we've had a chance to "talk":H. Good going on 15 days-as Mario said-it really does get easier! We've talked about it on here before...but I do find making lists a very helpful tool. I am the QUEEN of procrastinators so making a list really helps. Sometimes I just literally have to force myself to do the stuff-but the feeling afterwards is great-and a relief! You sound a bit homesick-I can understand being an "expat" myself. Something I try to do is embrace the culture I am in-really just force myself to go out and play the tourist in my own town (adopted town!). I've never been to Scotland but maybe you could get some tips from some of our Scottish members to help you find fun, interesting, beautiful places to visit??? I know our hill climbing Popeye:l has posted some incredible photos from around his area. expat xxx

        Yo Zenners,
        Just having a bash and some new pain killers for me fecking shoulder. Voltarol. Recommended by our wee pharmacist at Tesco. Roll on the 29th. The problem is it doesn't hurt all the time and I get a bit over confident and start reaching for things then yelping like a kicked dog all over the house.
        It could be worse, I could be filing.

              Cheers expat and good to hear from you. I know what you mean about procrastination...if I can do it tomorrow I will so the idea of keeping lists and ticking things off as you go is great. It gives u a constant sense of achievement.

              Yeah, am extremely homesick...worst I have ever been in the twelve years I have been here. I guess it's just cuz I am at an age now where my friends are getting married and having families and I am missing out. And I miss the sun and the heat!!! But knowing me it will be the same when I move back to the us..will miss here too.

                          Hello everybody!! Bye Mario! Casia--I've been in France for about five years now! I'm from Dublin so it's true I'm not as far away from home as you are! Though since I'm broke half the time-it seems pretty far:H. I really just had to take the attitude of "wherever you go; there you are" or whatever that saying is, haha!

                            Cassia - I'm Canadian but have been living in Greece since 1983. That's a long time....

                            I find it amazing to be connected to peeps all over the world, no matter where they're from and where they're living now... fantastic...
