        I am a VERY happy girl thanks to my MWO friends!

        I was very upset that I would not be able to get to the UK meetup this year for my birthday like I originally planned, SO.......................

        JC and Starty are coming over to ME!!!! Limers is coming too and we are having another Dublin Meetup!!

          Hey all,

          I am from New Jersey originally and but am proud to say I ever did any fist pumping at the Jersey shore!!! I live in Glasgow now and I do love it..just got some homesickness

          Zenstyle - where are you from in Scotland? Where do u now live?

          Expat - I have been to Dublin loads...I used to work for an Irish bank. It's hard not getting to go back as often as u like regardless of whether it is 300 or 3000 miles!

          Stirly - wow... Canada to Greece! That's pretty cool. I really want to go to Athens! There is an amazing Greek restaurant in Glasgow that I go to with one of my Greek Cypriot friends.

                    Either back hone to nj/ny area or California. My preference would be Cali for the great weather and the amazing national parks but hubby would prefer not to go that far just yet.

                          Cassia I have been living in Portugal for 9 years and I love it but I cant get work here and I know its tough back in UK but at least there are more options there

                            Cassia...I live in Minnesota..so i know all about cold and snow...gets old at times, but I grew up here so I am used to it. The summers here are soo great!

                              Yeah, thingsbare pretty rough here but hell they are rough everywhere. Fortune favours the bold and with your experience of living and working abroad, I imagine tsp you would be a desirable employee.

                              I don't what field you are in but suggest some great recruitment agencies if you want...

                              The good news is that Scotland has fared up much better than the south of England etc. Things will be rough though especially after the public sectors cuts come in full force and the talk of the double dip housing recession. Inflation is high and vat just went up to 20%. But I know plenty of people who have got jobs in the past 12 to 18 months so they are out there!
