This is What Sobriety Looks Like For Me!

I am running at a fast pace on my treadmill. I am listening to my IPOD singing along to Eminem's song "Not Afraid" from his "Recovery Album".

I know I'm a bit of a dork and shouldn't be admitting this but this is me actually doing something healthy! Something I don't do when I am sitting around watching terrible tv shows drunk. I love that dorky chick!

It's wonderful that you're being so healthy. I'm glad sobriety agrees with you.

(I also have a soft spot for Eminem, especially that album- right before I stopped drinking I read a really moving interview with him in Rolling Stone where he talked about his drug addiction and recovery.)

Nice work NewGirl. It is amazing how when you are not hung-over, getting to the gym is not only possible, it becomes a priority. Keep up your great work.

Yet to hit the gym myself, but glad to read you're having a blast excercising. A lil' bit of Eminem is good for ya... don't feel dorky for that! There's only so much reality TV one person can stand in a lifetime. Rock of Love anyone? EWWWW.

                      Best of luck to you
