    Movie recommendation

    Hey everyone,

    I just saw The King's Speech and thoroughly enjoyed it. It illustrates personal struggle, perseverance and success which I can definitely relate to. If you are looking for a film to see that gives you inspiration, I wholeheartedly recommend seeing this film.

          Ditto on Colin Firth!!!!
          Another great one is the movie Jeff Bridges just did...."Crazy Heart"....he won an Oscar I think...he is HORRIBLE alcoholic.....I won't say anymore
          I cant wait to see The Kings Speech either!!

            I saw "The King's Speech" today, and it was EXCELLENT! Ignore the ridiculous R rating and take your 12 and up kids. Absolutely no violence or sexual content, just one or two comical bouts of swearing used to help the main character get over certain letters he stutters on. I was so ticked I hadn't taken my daughter! Colin Firth should get an Oscar. He's amazing in this film.

            And yeah, a total hottie ; ).

                Thanks for the suggestion on crazy heart; I was just wondering tonight what movie jeff bridges had won an Oscar for. I can't wait to see true grit...it's not out here until 11th feb.

                Pride - I can't believe it is an r rating across the water!!! It is only a 12a here which is equiv of pg-13. No way does it deserve the same rating as say blue valentine which is (how I understand it) borderline porn...( but nonetheless v good).

                    Thanks for the recommendation, I've heard from many people it is fantastic. Geoffrey Rush is always great.

                    I saw Crazy Heart last year and was moved by it, but there's very little Jeff Bridges does that I don't love (The Big Lebowski is my all time fave film). Definitely agree with the recommendation that people see this too.
