hello hello army when you get up.
Lovely sunny ole day over here, but zen and starty had a fight and now zen has a sore leg, naughty old starty she's quite the bully. Nothing but a little TLC won't fix but it's time the girls didn't run together anymore. Luckily I was still there as neither of them were prepared to give in, had to throw the pooper scooper at them to get them to stop fighting.
I'm sure their namesakes wouldn't be so rough

Good luck in the race anon.
It's a good sign that you're dogs don't like losing Zeppie. I love those English Bull Terriers. I want one but Susan's scared it'll eat the kids. I've read up on them and they seem to be great fun if you bring them up right. A bit like people really.
Morning Starts
Well, I got back from Inverness last night safe and sound though the drive was quite a ride. The funeral was lovely and while it was sad to see him go, it was good to catch up with my extended family. There was loads of drinking of course, being a rural, highland affair but I wasn't in the slightest bit annoyed by it. I must be doing something right. I hated coming back and driving past all those unconquered mountains, but I just didn't have the time. My Aunty (the widow) is an old hand at Munro bagging, having completed about 230 and we had a couple of hours discussing routes and hills and I have an open invitation to use her place as a base any time I need to.
Off to see the grandkids later and maybe go for a walk. I'm looking for some Hawthorn or Blackthorn saplings to make a hedge for my front garden, so I'll take my garden fork with me.
