The snow flakes look so cool- in the first pic-
              I am up a bit before 4 a.m. so you're all asleep...husband sleepwalking-
I just looked outside and we have probably 8 or 9 inches of snow accumulated....
              Oh well, back to bed...yawn....
Oh- I made spaghetti with turkey meatballs for me and da kids... eew- never eat turkey meatballs...so much for trying to eat "healthy"...
The noodles were whole grain- yuck.

                Morning all,

Sarge where the heck are you...surely you are not out in the snow digging the jackass Techie out of a hole????

Reportage for today...dragged myself away from the news coverage of the Floods (it was doing my head in watching it).......just got back from a 8km run and now to do 20mins of core exercises followed by some Yoga poses. The exercise keeps me from imploding on all the grief that is around our country at the moment. Trying to stay centred and calm in these hard times is testing me big time, but I know that Australians are a tough mob, so we will get through this.

Private Mish reporting for duty, Sarge...and mighty glad to have you back, Sir.
Happy to report that I'm on day 38 AF and am fitter than a mallee bull after garden manouvres. Building limestone garden walls is very taxing but highly rewarding and cathartic. Temperatures on this side of Oz are around 35 degrees Celcius so I've been out there from about 1600 hours until around 1930 hours. I do my dry mixing under the patio which is a pretty good workout also. My mortar is completely lump free. I've moved simply tonnes of dirt and rubble which has built up some definition on my arms and I've seived a ton of rubbish out of the sand I'm putting back into the garden beds. A garden seive retails at around $7 and is the best piece of gym equipment ever. I can work out muscles in my arms, thighs, core and butt by changing technique.
Food intake has revolved around salad, salad, salad and more salad. I've been buying the Carisima low GI spuds and cooking up delicious beetroot as well as garden salad with all the "bits,"and my own dressing (for which I'm famous). Drinking litres of water a day and taking supps like lollies.
Great to be back, but may not be checking in quite so much until the Great Wall of Mish is finished.
                  :h Mish :h

Wow Mish - that sounds mightily impressive!!!

Dont you love it when you can eat food fresh from the garden? My spinach has been going a bit crazy for the last couple of weeks, and I've been eating it every day. Have lots of new spinch recipes if any wants some suggestions :H:H

I've been a little caught up with thinking about my neighbours and family across the Tasman as well. And a bit slack on the food and exercise front as well.

Rectified today - fresh apricots and greek yogurt for breakfast with a sprinkling of LSA; broccolli, scallopini, chicken and almond salad for lunch (covered with Hollandaise :H)

Just back from a 2km ralk/1km swim/ 2km ralk. Am very pleased to say that my running is finally improving!! Have got to the point where I am running 3 mins, walking 1min. Next week I shall rark it up to 4 mins run, 1 min walk :H

FYI, I am being summoned to London on business. Will post when I get there. Sarge will be here with some GREAT motivation ASAP. For those of you that remember, my organization and others were downsized last November. As a result, I've have picked up additional responsibilities as of last week. They call it increased span of control. I call it getting more shit to do. Bottom line is I'm preoccupied for a bit till I get a handle on things. I have three new direct reports that need to be Techified. The net add to my organization is 90 employees.

                          Hi Mish,
Gosh that's a lot of work you're doing! Did similar myself about 15 years ago. Couldn't do it now though. But isn't it a great way to tone up and get fit. The Sarge will be proud of you.

                          Mr. Sargeant sir,
I went to the girly gym to-day then exercised with Mr. Rags for 40 minutes.
Rations included fresh fruit for lunch.

                          Techie,
Enjoy London if you get a chance. Sounds like you're going to be pretty busy. Take a break if you can.

Whoever took those photos of you used the side light to very good effect. Nice snaps.
