      Hey Canucks

      I'm a Brit living in Beautiful BC. Based in a gorgeous mountain town on a lake, great skiing and lifestyle here though I miss the peeps back home... Just can't have it all eh?

      Canadians are the nicest people. I love them!

        Attention all CANUCKS !!

        Oh and I moved here because I had some idea that I would living such a wholesome, healthy life that I magically wouldn't want to drink anymore. I think AA calls it a 'geographic cure'.

        Needless to say it didn't work!! I can't even believe I was so deluded to think that some mountains and pine trees would cure me of my addiction. What actually happened was I would look around me and think "wow, this is so beautiful, a bottle of wine will make it perfect" OR, "crap, it's still snowing. I'll stay in with a box of wine..."

        Ha ha... the myriad of ways we kid ourselves!

          Pamela Anderson, Linda Evangelista, Shania Twain, Nelly Furtado, Keanu Reeves, Celine Dion, Brian Adams, Neil Young, Jim Carrey and Leonard Cohen. Oh, and don't forget Wayne Gretsky and Bobby Orr if you want to start the list of great hockey players. And William Shatner for you Star Trek fans.
