Ok so here is my current alcohol situation:

Last week sober monday to thursday.
Friday: three beers, normally 10-14
Saturday: five beers, normally 10-14
Sunday: seven beers, normally 10-14

So its very good.


And a funny story for you:

On monday I was thinking that I did not need to take my Antabuse because I felt confident about not drinking. But anyway I took 50 mg and guess what, 15 minutes later a friend that had been abroad came into work with a bag of 24 premium beers that I really love.

Once again Antabuse saved me

Hi scandinavian, good for you for cutting back but would you not try some alcohol free time first,and then try and moderate,its recommended you try 30 days,you will then have a clearer & positive outlook at what you really want to do.

I am with you on the Antabuse. It has saved me a bunch of times, esp. since it stays in your system for 2 wks! Keep taking it!

Scan, it's great that you've cut down, but did you notice the numbers are creeping up? Three, five and then seven. It won't take long at that rate to end up right where you began. I'm with the others on the 30 AF days before deciding to mod. You'll have a much clearer idea of the big picture after 30 days.
