                I sincerely hope it does. :h Major car repairs piss me off blind. Cause you can't do anything except have them done and re-mortgage your house to pay for them...:upset::upset:

                  We've been using the same mechanic for donkey's years so I know that he won't rip us off.

                  Geez when I think about it, he's been doing our cars, next doors, the bloke up the road and he used to do me Dad's for over 20 years.

                      Well as long as you know that he can be trusted, that is the main thing. We had a mechanic, many years ago, who was supposed to be a "friend". He did some repairs to our car and somehow managed to cut the little line that takes the brake fluid to the brakes. I left his shop thinking that all was well and a few hundred metres down the road, went to brake and the brake pedal didn't respond. Luckily there were no cars in front of me and I managed to stop the car without causing an accident. I finally found a good mechanic for my little "Beba" a couple of years ago and can now breathe easily about my car. But it was many years until I found a mechanic I could trust. Most of them are out to make an easy buck and that's it. Feckers.

                        Funny thing is he used to be a Head of Human Resources for a giant company before giving them the elbow as he was so unhappy and decided to make his hobby into a business. He charges half the rate of most garages round here.
