Hello all..this Leonard Cohen song keeps playing in my head.and in it is a line that says.
"i fought against the bottle but i had to do it drunk".hundreds of times i lived that line.
it was just so much easier to pick the bottle up and keep the madness numb.
now i listen to that song and can smile knowing im fighting against the bottle sober.
im sure many of you have fought that bottle drunk...we can do it.:iwin:

Love a bit of leonard 'cohen myself. Yeah it's a tough old battle and so many times when under the influence I have been convinced that would be it, finish the bottle and that would be it. Only to go out and get another. Madness indeed.
