She is quite an incredible dog - she adopted us... She spent two nights sleeping on the verandah of the house we stayed in but would take off around 6.00 a.m. Three nights ago, she pitched up again with an injured leg. She spent the night and the whole of the next day there. The cubs were with her on the front lawn late in the afternoon when her owners came past.

Turns out they actually wanted to give her away. I told Mrs. T we should go past their house as we left the town we stayed in this morning. She went up their door, told them that we would like to give Jasmine a home and that was that! We stopped at a vet on our way out to buy food, bowls and a lead. The poor thing only came with a threadbare collar.

Especially the youngest one. She was devastated when the owners came to fetch her. She had already started planning Jasmine's new life. She cried herself to sleep that night.

So far so good with the cats as well. The two orange ones (male) are a bit freaked out and skittish but the grey one (that huge big female) has already made it known that she won't back down one bit.
