                    Hey Everyone -

                    Firstly - thanks to jennyneric for starting this thread - it means a lot to me.

                    I couldn't have done it without the support that I received on here. Everyone has been very helpful and offered advice without being judgmental or trying to drive me down a particular route. I really appreciate that.

                    My husband took me out for a wonderful meal tonight at an AF restaurant. I had the best strawberry/mango smoothie I have had in a LONG time - I wonder if they do them to go.

                    This time last month, I was desperate - feeling so alone and knowing that things needed to change. By many of my friends standards, I don't have a problem - I am normal - I do what every young person does at the weekend who has a stressful job and needs a relief. I knew different. I found people on here who had a similar mindset - people who may not drink everyday or even every other day but there was still something inside of them that knew that they way the drank and how it affected them was not normal. I no longer felt alone. I got wise words from people older then me who started out with similar issues to me but took it a wee bit further. I learned from them that if they can do it, I could do it.
