DYING to see pics of the wedding!!

Hey guys - just a quick pop in before work. This morning by 10 am I will be done with the "project from hell" that has been causing me stress and grief since Jan 3rd. Really looking forward to 10:01 am and the fact that I will be taking a day or two off to recover from this debauchle. And thanks for all the support yesterday - I feel much better this morning after a good sleep. It DOES get better with time.

Love you guys and will read the thread and post later. X X O O

                Hello everyone!

Just trying to catch up on the thread and have given up, you guys move too fast!

I do have pity for you Mario and your puncture. The exhaust fell off my car last night and it took me 2 hours to get home instead of about 30mins!. Got to bed about 1am and had to be up at 5:upset: Don't have to work till this evening though so not too bad and off then for the rest of the week

Poxy start to the day here, grey and wet but the sun has started to come out and I'm off to bring the dogger for a quick walk

                Have a great Wednesday!

                xx

Wow loadsa posts since this morning! Hi to everyone I have missed!

Went out to check on the progress of renovations at our main park but still a no-go area, full of building work, diggers and scaffolding and most of it still cordoned off!! it has been a WIP for over a year now wish they would bloomin hurry up! anyway drove on to my nearest small one which is lovely and DS and I fed the ducks and watched some squirrels, he is napping now so I am going to catch up on some chores, feeling very virtuous today and much more cheerful than yesterday I am happy to say!

Afternoon folks. Hope every one is well, transport and weather problems aside.

Had my 2nd appt with my alcohol worker yesterday. She may refer me for psychotherapy to try to find out why I drink. Was all stressed out when I got home and went on a bit of a bender. ops!: I'm sober again now and hoping to be a bit more moderate tonight. Was making quite good progress until yesterday.

Poppy the cat is trying to stick her bum in my face. I THINK it's meant to be a gesture of affection.

Yo Recluse, you were sooooo right about me and Sir Dylan the Dog, here's the photo of me and him having a wee 'nap' after Chrimbo dinner

More seriously though I'm interested to know has your AL worker suggested any type of de-tox or treatment. I've also done the psychotherapy just too.

How's about giving your liver a bit of a treat tonight and having a night off the booze.

Hi Jackie - lovely pic. Sir Dylan must have cost a fortune to feed. Was he named after Bob Dylan by any chance?

He came with the name as he was a rescue. I'd have beaten the living daylights out of his previous owner so it was probably not a good idea that we never met.

He was locked in the house 14 hours a day, he didn't bark cos he was so afraid to. I'll stop there but bless his huge heart he was a wreck when he came to us.

Jackie - she has mentioned the possibility of detox/rehab, but I imagine the cost would be prohibitive and I have a problem with meeting people - hence my name. She has also suggested reflexology and acupuncture and asked me to read up on them on the internet before next week. I'd be interested to hear about how you found the psychotherapy - without going into any personal details of course.

It's terrible the way some people treat animals. They really shouldn't be allowed anywhere near them.
