So I log off, turn off computer go upstairs to start dinner and Mr. Rags says to me
" Oh speaking of Valentines Day massacres'...
And my think bubble went ... "Shit he's in the kitchen with a bloody great knife in his hand..."

To which I replied... "You look after the chops while I boot up the computer and tell them"

Unless he comes up with more gems of information, like in last weeks New Scientist, scientists have come up with a way to make cassava use it's naturally occuring cyanide to produce more protein in the plant, as cyanide is a readily available source of carbon and nitrogen. I found that extremely interesting as a huge % of Africa relies on cassava as their main food source. You have to boil it for bloody hours to get the cyanide out, but it is an amazingly prolific hardy plant. They hope to have it in cultivation in about 4 years.

Today is the 10th anniversary of my dad popping his clogs. No need for violins and all that stuff but intresting ... my mum didn't remember. Fusk.

I've never given a fat rat's clacker about SV's day - have never sent nor received a commercially dictated token of love and affection. Makes me feel good.
