    Morning all.

How are you holding up Missy ?

I just thought I'd share with you all that I am celebrating my inaugural mammograb today.

Always something to look forward to, you see ?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

A big welcome, Happy. This is a wonderful thread and we're glad to have you join us.
Well, what a sad time. I'm listening to the tele and there are some amazing stories of survival, which somehow make this whole mess a little more bearable, but thinking of those whose loved ones are still unaccounted for makes me feel ill. I can't imagine how terrified they must be.
I wish I could find something else to say, but that's about it, I'm afraid. Want to let you know, though, that I love you all.

It really hit home yesterday when one of the CTV staff were outside the CTV building saying "my producer's in there."

Arvo all - I think we're suffering from Disaster Overload. Each new event picks open the scabs of yet-to-be healed wounds.

Well Bridgee - I hope you went out in true hedonistic style and followed your inaugural mammograb with a nice relaxing PAP test. I suggest you book in for some root canal work, whether you need it or not. Just for the sheer devilment of it all!

              Hello Undies,
Raggsy here with a very quick message.
Heard late yesterday about the earthquake in NZ. My thoughts are with all those families.

Arrived safe. Met Techie and had lunch. Will fill you all in in detail when I get to a internet cafe.
Managed to get myself severely ripped off in New york buying a mobile phone... another story for later.

              OK girls.

All you who thought Techie would be a C hands up.

Have done lots of touristy things, and have been last 3 days with friends i met in Africa. Wewent to Mark Twain's house to-day... Very impressive. Went to site of Boston Tea Party yesterday, and Paul revere's house.
Have not had time to read through any of the last weeks posts as m on borrowed computer for a few minutes.

Leave early tomorrow to make our way up to Canada. Will find an internet cafe and try to catch up then.
Rather chilly here and now I understand Ruby Willow's hatred of shovelling snow!!

OK my dear Undies, will try to catch up in a couple of days.

I'm so impressed that you got the stuff through unbroken and that it is adorning Techie's bedside cabinet. Hope they dont have earthquakes in NY as us undies are scrambled enough as it is ..........

Full grease and oil change you reckon girls ?

Am now in fine fettle. Nothing like having your tits clamped in a vice by a fembot on her 5th plastic surgery incarnation, with full botox and a personality bypass.

I thought perhaps I'd follow up with open abdominal surgery tomorrow actually. Just a bit of a sneek and peek, see what's shaking.
Monday is a full chemical facial peel, MRI, barrium enema and some cranial burr holes, which are all the rage in Europe right now.
Tuesday is half price facial and body piercing....see if I can afford it after the laparotomy......

Mmmm gotta love the mammogram. Your fembot sounds like she came out of the same mould as my last radiologist. Very perky! Enjoyed telling me i have "dense breasts". Hello I could have told her that - they match my head. Well not in shape...i hope

I kid you not - when I had my m-grab a couple of weeks ago, the nurse (or whatever - no bedside manner and about 12 years of age) said that I was obviously a swimmer from the tog marks on my back. She then asked what distances I swam, and then asked me why I wasn't enrolled in an Iron-Man training programme:H:H:H I sweetly talked about how swimming was so much better for older women than impact sports and how free weights and resistance training were a good antidote for osteoporitis. She then asked me what osteoporitis was

Well shit - here's my mammograb story.

I told her ... hey look , I'm a tad on the small side of things, hope you can get a good pic and she adopted an evil grin and said "We do blokes here!"
