Well, Hubs still lives, for the moment. Such are 'The Days Of Our Lives'. Ups and downs are part of a long-term relationship. And he's as stubborn and spoiled as I am.

Bird, I got THREE letters yesterday the school had my grands write wanting me to subscribe to magazines. THREE!! I only order mags when I can get them at ridiculously low rates. I'd love to have gotten some donuts out of something I've paid for over the years. The subscriptions are $20-30 each, and my babes will only get a a T-shirt out of it!. Hubs said a few choice expletives, said call and tell them he'll take 'em shopping. Believe me, anything that supports our kids I'm all for, but some things are so patently rip-offs. I know your girls have learned from your example to appreciate, work for what they want. Life without struggles is impotent, just coasting. That's hard on you, I'm sure, at times. But IMHO, you're giving your girls a better education than any school can. Of course, I'm a bit prejudiced, you know. You are an inspiration!!

Good morning bird and Ruby - I am typing on my lap top as my regular computer has a virus when I start it up so can't even get past the start up page - it opens to Palladium virus Protection or something or other so I am off the computer shop after the vets this morning and this lap top doesn't half take some getting used to! The annoying thing is that I know exactly what I opened that gave it to me and I was dubious about opening it before i did - should have gone with my gut feeling - they usually are right!!

ANYWAY I am off today which is good. Yes Ruby I do feel appreciated at work !! Glad Hubs is still alive LOL Saves me sending the hefty bags and clorox.

Jan - I did get your call thank you - my phone rang right at the beginning of our meeting - my bag was on the side and I ignored it, letting it ring, but everyone looked at me and just laughed! the call was something else - I couldn't understand you! Had to listen to it twice! ROTFL Just how many coffees had you had???

Gosh, I hope it gets easier to type on this - Hi to everyone else, will be back later today - goodness me, one of my dogs is tooting away like crazy beside me here. How funny. They both keep looking round for the source of the noise!

Morning, all! I've been sitting here with my cat, massaging her tense little shoulders, when I got a fabulous idea for a new career ...massage and guided meditation for felines! I could throw in some past life regression stuff, too! For example, who knew that my cat was once a lion hunting on the African savannah? She also claims that she was Cleopatra's cat, and the goddess Bast. I can't wait to start pulling in the big bucks, but first, more coffee.

Hope you're all off to a good start and getting some of the springy weather that I am experiencing!

ROTFL Fen - what a wonderful idea - I had a 16 year old cat who would NOT use the lit tray and hadn't for about 8 years and finally I decided enough was enough and asked the vet in Petsmart about putting her down - he told me that before he did that he would want me to take her to a cat psychologist in st Louis first!! SO, you never know, you might be on to a good thing there......... have a wonderful day my friend..,

Fen, you've struck gold, if you can keep a straight face. Those that buy into that stuff REALLY 'buy' into it!!! So funny, since I've been canoodling TMB this morning, grooming her, and she's so big it's hard to go from end to end. But she adores it.Would that everything in life was so simple.
So, MB, youhave to be in and out on certain days?? I'm SO close to where you'll be.
I'm incrediblly sleep today. What's up with that?? My poor old body. (shut up, sun.)

OK, I have a creepy/tragic/funny story about a cat. We had a neighbor, who had recently bought the prop across from us. 12 acres, pond, pool, and a sun room with a hot tub. I was working for the PO one Sat, came home to see our cul-de-sac full of cars, ER vehicles. Turns out Elmer had messed with the empty hot tub, left it on, burned down the house. I had to track the family down, then deal with them when they got home. She had a cat, 18 yrs old, who was in the house. She got so into searching she singed her hair, and the fire chief asked me to take her away. I told her that her cat would have died early from the smoke, a kind death. Hubs had joined me there, and I don't think I should repeat what he said. He's a wickedly funny man.

Oh dear Ruby, what a story - and so you realise that you have told me to 'shut up 'twice this morning and I haven't said a WORD about your OLD AGE.

I have just got back from the vet and Maggie has been left there to have surgery on her paw (again) to remove yet another cancerous toe. I had a feeling that is what it was when it wouldn't heal - huge great sore between the two toes - she has already had to have the outer toe removed. I can see her foot getting small and smaller until the whole foot is gone, but if that is what it takes ......she is still well despite everything. Hated leaving her though and I will have her back today - he knows I never leave her overnight.

Also took my computer in - two brothers started up a place in the town where i live and they are wonderful - really nice chaps and I have been going there since they opened. Anyway, they will sort it for me. Hopefully get it back today - they are sweeties and said they would try and get it sorted today. Said they owed me a favour!! Long story - I don't think they do, but either way they are great.

I have to go now and try and get my camera fixed!! back later everyone. All these things that need fixing!

Bird - good luck on giving the no antabuse a try. I have been thinking about doing that but am waiting a bit.
Sunni - what have you done to all your electronics?
Whose dog is farting? We had to put Molly out last night. Boy - that was BAD!
Fennel - you must have a talk with my animals and see what they were in their previous lives.
MB, Rubes, Hill and everyone.....morning - a lot of madness going on here.
