Army Thread Monday 7th February
Heya Stirly! I drove to Bville yesterday morning and was shocked to see the accumulation south of me. It missed us yet again! We're getting a few cm's here and there mostly with only a couple dumps to remind us I guess. S'posed to go down into -20's again this week.
Off I go into a corner.....
Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Afternoon tips, stirly, RC, wagoneer and anyone else out there. :hiya:
Brass monkey (colloquial expression) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wouldn't worry about the brass monkey phrase tips, you won't have much use for it in your part of the world.

Hi again.
No Tips wouldn't have much use for that expression. :H:H Especially not this time of year in Saffaland. But it might get hot enough to melt them off...For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

It's a little inside joke between RC and I. She always used to think I was talking about her when I referred to lurkers...I'll do whatever it takes

I've just been taking a eeky: at the e-bay thread and am shaking with laughter. Oh dear - I think Oney-bint got the worst deal...
But this made me cry laughing..Popeye;956710 wrote: I bought a closed circuit TV system for my house (?89) to save me getting up from my chair when there was someone at the door. All I had to do was find the remote and turn it to the right station so I could see who it was, then get up and walk the 10 yards to the door and open it, thereby saving precious seconds of my busy drinking schedule.
Invaluable!
It's all wrapped up in a carrier bag somewhere just in case I ever need it...
And this made me fall off my chair....tawnyfrog;956712 wrote: 1,000 Noodle Boxes and no, I don't want to talk about it.
