It is One2, my hubby is away this week and this site has been my lifeline, my first and last fix of ther day, it has really kept me focused. Normally I would of utterly lost the week in a solid drunken stooper.

I love the morning checking in bit & knowing that I will be making friends that I can share with if I feel a wobble on its way, 11 weeks feels like a life time but in the scheme of things its still baby steps!!

But yes whoo hoo, another day of living and my god it feels sooooo bloody good:H

11 weeks is a great start
This place has saved my life and the people here have become lifelong friends. I feel absolutely blessed really.

80 days today, not bad for a Vodka for breakfast type of girl!

And loving it! I cant stress how much MWO has helped keep me focused and sober. I cant wait to tell my Husband the truth for a change, that I did it and didn't drink. It sure beats having the empties to dispose of

I have not been up north much, just Cumbria. Its all on my ever growing to do and see list.

Oh love him he knows and is so patient. He nearly left me tho last year as he just couldn't cope any more, but he staying strong. He has cried so many tears for me. He doesn't drink so really doesn't understand.

My hubs drinks, but I dont think he understands the compulsion/obsession. But he is VERY glad Ive stopped

He has 1 a night, and thats his lot, so the alkie in me doesn't class that as drinking lol

He just does not understand why I just couldn't NOT pick up a drink, or stop after one or two.

But we are talking and he is slowly trying to understand but he will never 'get it' but yep, he is very gald and proud of me.

Boy am I in a really happy place today

I find that being sober, those happy places are so genuine and better than any drug or drink could ever be. Enjoy them, they are real.
Although there might well be downers these dont stay and we get better able to deal with them as time goes on. Plus we learn what we are like and what we need to be happy.
For me, in the last two years, I have completely changed my life. I travel, socialise and have totally changed my career. All sober which I am totally gobsmacked about

As you have probably gathered, I ALWAYS have my lucky pants on
