They only really quitened down after 11.00 p.m. Expat.

The one house is having a BBQ tonight. No music, but obviously the AL is causing voices to be raised and such.

In the other house, they're currently making their dinner. Which I could gather from "this fucking avo is indedible" and "that is fucking disgusting" and "fuck you, man" and "I'm not going to fucking eat that"... We live on relatively large properties - the plots are all 1000m2 and bigger. I'm sitting in my study, which is at least 25m away from where their kitchen window is... There is a wall between us as well... They've been getting progressively drunker since 4.00 p.m.

Sorry - I'm venting again... other people have much more serious problems. I'll shut up now :new:

We've considered selling, but Saffa property prices have been affected by the recession and haven't recovered yet. We simply can't afford to.

                      Sounds like a plan

Throw in a couple of the Undies, and they'll be as submissive as anything...

Very sad to think you would even have to consider selling your home because of something like this!!!!!! Grrrrrr!

The parents generally think these brats are little angels. They've all attended private schools and are very "posh", until there isn't adult around. The one mother texted me back at 11.20 p.m. one Monday evening, after I had complaine twice already, that she'll "try to get them to stop having fun" - the police eventually broke up the party.

We're not getting any support from our Municipal Council, which is why we're trying to get the regular residents in our neighbourhood to work together. That takes time, but I'm working on it.
