    Army Thread 13th February

Morning troopers! It's Sunday and nearly daylight! Rise and shine!

Following on from last night's musical extravaganza (courtesy of our resident DJ, Mr T) here's a topical track from Status Quo:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6J4kFC7hrg[/video]]YouTube - in the army now - status quo (live)

Wonder what expat has got planned for Tigger today? A trip up the Eye-Full tower? A dip in the Seine? The Louvre? The Avenue des Champs Elysees? Can't wait for the pics.

Morning Army, Still dark here! You are up early Recluse. I'm only awake because the pug dog wants to go out--grrrrr. Maybe he''ll let me go back to bed after his little walk.

Morning expat. Errr... yeah, I may have over-anticipated the sunrise thingy. Still dark here too. Up late, not early. Going to bedinabit.

        Morning, Wreckstar & Expat

        Thanks for the song, Reccie!

Buy the pug dog a mini treadmill, Expat...

It's a misty morning here. Usually that means we're in for a scorcher. We'll see how it turns out.

Oh dear. The eldest cub called me to come see something on the TV quickly. It was this picture of a vampire squirrel form "Vampires Suck" (the movie sucks too). I sure hope our Starty doesn't get bitten...

Although, this kinda outfit might make her easier on the eye to those who do not appreciate the fact that her knickers are:

            1. A gift. One does not look a gift horse in the mouth, after all
            2. Of a classical style
            3. Merely characterful (dirty and skanky are such strong words to use)

Feck: I wish the youngest cub will get up now. It's time to crack the ostrich egg and make some scrambled egg.

They want me to try and keep the shell intact... I wonder if a power drill will work to make a hole at each end?

                          Of to Goggle for ideas...

Urm......... Anyone for ostrich egg? I just found this snippet:

"Ostrich eggs can be prepared in any way that chicken eggs can be prepared and can be substituted for chicken eggs in recipies when you remember that one ostrich egg is the equivalent of about 2 dozen chicken eggs. "

I also saw prices for empty shells. People are being ripped off BIG TIME. Empty shells sell for US$10.00 and whole eggs for US$15.00. It cost us $4.00 for the latter.
