Last time I had a hangover, many, many moons ago after a period of AF I was as sick as dog for 2 days. Sweating,puking,anxious and thoroughly ashamed of meself. Trouble is after 2 or 3 days I felt sooooooooooo much better I did it again...........and again, and again, and again.

So back to AF for you EW, it's just not worth the grief.

In a word YES Ew, I too suffered horrendously when I drank after a decent AF time - was like the oul bod. wasn't used to the abuse like it used to be. Luckily unlike JC I felt so awful it worked as a cure in itself!! Like Anon says, back on the wagon boy, you'll be feeling good about yourself again in a few days.
Hey JC and MrsA and Mm - just heading back out to work after locking myself out and having to drive a 40 mile round trip to get a key I AM LEVITATING!!!!

EW, I am sorry that you decided to drink, you can spend the next few days feeling "flat" and berating yourself because you made a bad decision and poured poison down your neck OR you can bottle how crap you feel, document it, write it down and take it out the next time those sneaky feelings come knocking and you can also Thank Dawg that you now know, FOR SURE, that you cannot drink..end of...period.

Eliminates all doubt from your mind....

I hope you feel better soon! Unfortunately you have reconfirmed how much alcohol messes with your life but the good news is that it's over now and you will move forward! And u have an awesome new job. At least u dent celebrate with a drink after your first week. Small mercies!

So the changes have started at work. Apparently my office will look different by summer. Kinda sad but also reaffirms my need to go home.

Good morning all and Happy AF Valentines Day for those who celebrate!

I'm just enjoying today after a fantastic nights sleep and feeling happy to be AF again after briefly flirting with Modding the last couple weeks. I'm not ready yet. I might never be ready yet. Anyway, now with no AL in my system I feel great.
