Greetings from Johannesburg. Also known as Egoli - city of gold :hallo:

Checked into the hotel a liitle while ago. Yep, you guessed it: the room could be anywhere. Stock-standard, but clean and comfortable, with no noisy students! Yeehaw!!!

EW: I missed the post where you told about what happened to you... will have to go seeking...

        How's everyone else?

:H:H:H That's about all we could do! Plus, we were with hyperactive child (he's 7) wearing his wellies, pug dog and my 14 yr old trying to pretend she didn't know us!:H

There was Mr JC and me, the kids were 8 and 9 at the time and the worst thing was we were all wearing cagoules as it was hissing down. Geez talk about Brits abroad.

                            Hiya Zennerz.

I don't know what a "cagoule" is. Sounds quite French to me. Guess I'll have to look it up. What is that site again...gogle or goggle or google or something....

I've now got a lovely shower cape that conveniently fits into my handbag so I can go out and about without worry of getting wet. (that's what it says on the blurb)
