    Doggygirl of the 1000 SOBER Days!!!!



    Today marks a VERY special day for Doggygirl! She has racked up 1000 AF days!!!!

    Bloody WELL DONE girl, you have rocked it. I appreciate your honesty and your complete glee in the AF life. You encourage and help so many on here and are always the voice of reason.
    I hope you will do something nice for yourself today and here is to the next 1000!!!


    CONGRATULATIONS!

    Truly Awesome! I am in awe at a job so well done. I only hope I have the courage to achieve what you have with the grace that you have. Have a truly wonder AF day! And thank you for everything!

          Doggygirl of the 1000 SOBER Days!!!!

          Hi all! Oney, thank you SO much for starting a PARTY THREAD!! I don't know why but this milestone feels SO good. I hope others here will wonder what 1,000 days AF would feel like, and GO FOR IT!!! I certainly don't regret it.

          My sobriety is the #1 most important thing in my life. Without it, I don't have a life. When I drink, I first kill myself spiritually then I start killing myself physically. I just don't want to do that any more.

          This morning I am thinking about something a dear departed sober friend always said. (RIP Step Coach)

          Sobriety is a gift. I hang onto that gift with both hands. If I let it go, I don't know if I can get it back again.
          Today I am hanging onto my gift with both hands. I hope you do too.

          One thing is for sure....there will be NO room for AL in my life today.

                          Wow Doggy...1000 days I am so excited to be following you in this battle....I would never have guess that many days already...Life is fulled with ups and downs but all of it is so much better sober!!!....congradulations!!!!!
